After seeing the film in the theaters twice I knew I needed to own it on bluray. It is a fitting installment to the ever growing Star Wars canon of films. Lucasfilm and Disney get bonus point for making this a DVD combo pack. This isn't always done and I appreciate having a backup disc even if its of a lower re\solution.

This one was very good, as always, and really ties the original trilogy in with the most recent trilogy, as well as the newest movie that picks up after the first trilogy ended with Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leah. Now the newest series has the next installment coming out in December. Can't wait for it either.

If you enjoy any of the other Star Wars films, this one is still a really good one. The picture and special effects are amazing. It was hard adjusting to a lot of new characters and names, but it was also really easy to relate to due it building up to episode IV. Great buy and still mellow enough for most young viewers.

Great movie is all I can say. It is great story line while starting a new chapter of its own it answers questions from past series and leaves the audience wanting more. Great cameo's and story line with actors portraying the characters in every aspect of the term. Can't wait to see where the story moves on from here.

Some may agree, some may disagree, but I have loved what Disney has done with Star Wars. It is like revisiting my childhood over and over again. Rogue One was great and didn't disappoint for me and the book Catalyst was a great read to gain some foundation for the story that is Rogue One that takes place after the book.

Rogue One is the movie we didn't asked for - but what we got was beyond any expectation. Excellent pacing of the movie. As the movie progresses it gets better and better. Culminates in one of the best finales seen in any of the Star Wars movies.

This movie is absolutely incredible. Even if you're not a big fan of Star Wars there is lots of action, drama, incredible scenes to enjoy. This movie takes place before the original Star Wars (A new hope). I would say this is a MUST BUY, not only for Star Wars fans but even those who are just interested in watching it.

I was concerned about the "story movies" from Star Wars. Just another way for Disney to make more money, but I was wrong. This was well done. A perfect blend of classic Star Wars with new details that made it fresh and exciting. I like how it filled in some gaps to the other movies...I'm looking forward to the next one.

Before I get into my review on my experience, I just want to say that Star Wars Rogue One was incredible! If you haven't seen it (especially you Star Wars fans out there), then WATCH IT! Now that this is out of the way, my service was just excellent! No other way to explain! Got in, got out with a very friendly smile!

Absolutely awesome! Well done Disney, well done. 3D is excellent, plot is excellent, CGI is crazy good and the characters are out of this world. If you like Star Wars, You will love this. If you don't, but like sci-fi, you'll love this. The movie ties into Star Wars 4 - A New hope, or will stand alone. Get it, watch it.

Amazing low price for Rogue One 4 Disc 3D Blu-ray/DVD steel book set on the day of release ... $24.99! Highly recommend pre-order and pick up at local Best Buy. Order processing fast and there are no lines for pick-up at store. Superb HD quality movie. Definitely pick up your copy of this brilliant Star Wars movie! A+++

This movie is an ok prequill to the destruction of the death star. The only inconsistency I noticed (and I'm not a super geek) was that the very first Star Wars movie had a line that said "Many Bothans died to bring us this information" . In Rogue One there was no introduction of a new race called the "Bothans" they all looked like regular humans to me and they were not from a planet called "Botha" either. Other than that it is a good addition to the Star Wars collection of stories. They have brought in all the familiar rebel and empire characters that were in the original movie.

Great story on how the Resistance got the designs for the Death Star in the original film. It added new meaning to the Statement that was made while the council reviewed those plans "A lot of people died to get these". I especially liked how this story explained why the death star had such a vulnerable weakness. Enjoy!

Looking forward to seeing this movie and it did not disappoint. Seamless insert in the storyline of the movies that adds to the Star Wars world and explains some things. Great movie with tons of action non stop. Enjoyed seeing old characters and meeting new ones. Would recommend and will watch over and over many times.

After the wonderful experience of The Force Awakens, I was still nervous about a movie taking place outside the main series. This expelled all concerns! This is a great film. Even if you haven't watched any of the other Star Wars movies, you can enjoy this film! Bonus props to all of the Rebels and Clone Wars tie-ins.

This movie is not only visually stunning it also does a great job explaining how the resistance got the death star plans and why the empire would leave such an obvious exploitable weakness in their defenses, they didnt it was sabotage. Sorry for the spoiler. A must have for any star wars fan.

When Disney bought the rights to Star Wars, I was a little hesitant. After watching episode 7 and now Rogue One, it appears that Disney is really putting forth the effort to continue with quality Star Wars storytelling. Rogue One is definitely seated well into the world we've all come to expect from the S.W. universe.

The movie was so much better than I expected. It really did feel like a Star Wars movie. The prequels didn't have that same feeling for me. The acting was great, I enjoyed the diverse cast, and the movie was a lot of fun. On top of that the steelbook looks terrific. Extremely happy to add this to my movie collection.

I pre-ordered this movie and only Best Buy had the 3D version. The steel book is a bonus (also a Best Buy exclusive). So it gets an extra star for 3D steel book. I found Rogue One to be rather boring actually. The acting by many of the characters was rather bad. Luna was really flat while Whitaker went the other way and over-acted the entire time. The only good acting came from the Robot. It's cool to see what happened just before a New Hope, and who doesn't want to see more Vader. However, it should have been much better. I didn't hate it, but I liked The Force Awakens better.

I initially could not get into this movie. It started out VERY slow and it could not get my interest. Thankfully it picked up and turned out to be a good movie. I still want to watch it again so I can see if I missed anything in the beginning when it was slow. Can't wait till this December when the new one comes out.
