Great movie for the whole family and friends......

The movie starts out as a jumble of character introductions,then continues with slightly less confusing plot twists. The best thing about the movie is the new actors that look very much like the actors in the first movie (although Princess Leia just misses)

I guess we set our expectations to high for this movie and walked away disappointed. Average at best and some sleeper areas we found it boring at a few points but when it was action it was good. Wish we could of gave it a better review but not this time.

Some of the inside locations were a bit too dark. Sound was good. Story line good to. Lots of action. Good to see that the lower echelon of the fight are given credit in the story line.

First "BIG" fan of Star Wars, always have been but this one just wasn't as good as some of the others. NOT saying I hated it or even did not like it, JUST not as good. CAN'T WAIT TILL 12/18/2017,, THE NEXT INSTALLMENT WILL BE IN THEATERS !!!! :-)

If you're a true fan, you would appreciate this movie. If not, not so much. It's about a group of rebels sacrificing themselves to get the blue print of the death star that tells the weak spot of the death star. No Jedi's around for this movie.

While I see Rogue One as a decent film, I can't but feel that it's largely unnecessary. It was alluded to in the original Star Wars and see it more of a novel in the expanded universe. Both Vader scenes are tremendously entertaining though.

Coming off The Force Awakens which had believable characters and perfect story pacing, all Star Wars fans should've been excited for this film. At first of watching this film, you might love it because of all the nostalgia but that is exactly the problem of this movie. If you didn't like The Force Awakens because it was a rehash of A New Hope then you might like this one cause it has more of an original story; however, the story is dull with characters being extremely bland. You don't care about any of them especially towards the end. Some might say it's because these characters didn't get explored more than one film but honestly it's bad filmmaking.

This was an okay movie, but not nearly as exciting as any of the previous Star Wars movies. I think the story line has taken about as many twists and turns as it is allowed to take before you lose total contact with the original story.

Watched it once and that will probably be it until a few years from now. I like to get all the star wars movies but they just aren't the same anymore. Every movie has a brand new cast so its hard to follow like the previous trilogies

While far from the worst in the Star Wars series, this installment is still not the best. It's hard to explain without giving spoilers, just don't get attached to the new characters, the chances of us meeting them again is remote.

....yeah its a star wars movie but honestly it was well below what I was expecting from a new franchise movie. good graphics and such and I liked that I got the blue rey and dvd combo but honestly id rent it first before buying.

The overall quality of this DVD is average. There were a few "dark" scenes that were difficult to see on my TV. The whole DVD was in widescreen so that made the people "squished."

Decent prequel - ties in smartly with the subsequent stories. Backstory on most characters was a little lacking. Doesn't take much effort to follow the plot, because it's one we've seen before, but it's still Star Wars...

This was a story that I always wondered about but wasn't exactly blown away like I was with The Force Awakens. However, it wad good enough that it could have been the prequel to episode 4 instead of the prequel trilogy.

It certainly seemed like this should have been one of the first movies in the series. I didn't like the ending but still thought it was a good movie, just not one of the best in the series. I will always love Star Wars.
