Told me why Princess Lea was so sad about what it took yo get the Death Star plans! The movie had great characters that were really heroes! But it did not really tie into "A New Hope", the first Star Wars we all saw!

This movie could have been so much more. It does a good job of filling in the story, but some "explanations" see forced and make no sense with what we know from previous movies. Watch the 7 movies before this one.

Kind of disappointment, expected m o re from the movie. The scenes etc was done very nicely. The acting was not great, storyline was not the best. Overall the movie quality was great ,the story ok, the action so so.

honestly I was a little disappointed with the movie, graphically it was nice but I lacked a lot of what I have been wanting/expecting of a Star Wars franchise. Rent it if you like it buy but to me its a rent first.

I am still trying to figure out why this movie was made other than to make money for the franchise. I had no interest in any of the characters, none of them had any appeal, they were all thrown together and for some reason they all seemed to care about each other like a family after knowing each other for a very short time. It made no sense. I didn't pull for any of them or cared what happened to any of them. The CGI of some characters were.... very CGI and overrated, it looked very CGI. I hope the Star Wars franchise doesn't continue to make un-necessary movies for the sake of just making movies.

I got this movie for my children and they felt the story was a little weak and the action not as good as the previous ones. It is OK and keeps the collection complete, but not the best one in the series by far.

I am a huge Star Wars fan, and although many have said that this was the best Star Wars film I would disagree. There is not a lot of peril for the characters and I didn't not feel enough for them by the end

The film itself is pretty good, but suffers from some bland characters and an overstuffed first act. The blu ray has some surface level bonus features. I wish they would have spent more time on the features.

Disappointed with the fact there is no steelbook of this. Price was not competitive at all. There is no cover art. The special features are very limited. Not exactly happy about the product despite the fact the movie is made in the original trilogy style and is a masterpiece. Please put more effort in product displays guys. I want this to last for my great grand kids.

I enjoyed the movie as an action picture, cartoon-like in nature but lacking in any real substance. It is not up to the level of the last Star Wars movie but was fun and a good way to spend a few hours

This prequel to the original (1st) movie did not make any significant contribution to cinematography or characters. If you like the series this movie is OK. I found it to be the dullest of the series

Great special effects as always with star wars type movies. Plot was predictable and jumped around so at times hard to follow. Not their best but still worth the time to watch if you like the series.

This cover is ok. It definitely isn't the best out of the series. Not a bad movie either. Target exclusive is probably better, but I wanted to keep with the trend of other titles that I already have.

I made the mistake of watching this with My ten-year-old son. Everybody, but everybody, dies in the end. This Space Opera ends like a soap opera, and frankly, I am disappointed and so is my son.

It wasn't as good as the originals. I guess I'm getting old but I still like the originals much better. I think it was because there were so few movies like them when they came out.

We really expected this to be one of the best Star Wars movies after seeing all the trailers and commercials. It was good, but not great. We were entertained but not to the level expected.

Special effects were awesome but it didn't grab & hold me like the original movies. I guess because I knew the outcome. Especially liked Darth Vader's return. And everyone dies at the end.

Personally, I liked the movie. It was better than I thought. Not as good as the Star wars before it, but good enough I wanted to buy it.

Go got the movie in the mail, but with NO slip cover. And customer service didn’t help at all. Don’t bug in on the site, go in person.
