Great movie. I've got steel book copies of all the Star Wars movies. First, only blu-ray. Then they added dvd and digital copies. Now they've added a 3D disc. Pumping up the price by adding 3D which has a slim market. And the steel books are always sold out!! When will steel book stock be replenished??

Thought the movie was great. The 3D version though was weak and not as clear as the 2D version. You give up a bit of brightness when viewing 3D versions with active shutter 3D compared to 2D but in good 3D versions this is acceptable. The 3D version of Force Awakens was good. It had depth and for me the 3D version was more enjoyable than the 2D version. This is not the case with Rogue One. I enjoyed the 2D version better. Again top Star Wars movie and good lead to A New Hope. 5 stars for movie, 3 stars for 3D, 4 overall. I would give 5 stars for 2D only package.

In my opinion this is the best Star Wars movie yet. Granted it has the advantage of being most recent, but it's only competition is the Empire Strikes Back in my opinion. This movie is very well done with nice humor also and tells a great, fast paced story. I leads right up to A New Hope which is pretty cool.

The Star Wars universe has been hugely expanded in non-movie media ever since the first movie came out in 1977. Now, for the first time, we get a non-Skywalker Star Wars story in movie form, and it is an unqualified success. This movie is recommended to any Star Wars fan (and hence, everybody.)

Besides being an outstanding movie and showing real promise for the Star Wars stand alone stories, I thought this Best Buy exclusive had the coolest artwork out of any of the exclusives available. Imposing Death Troopers are on patrol on the front, and good old Stormtroopers hold down the back cover.

We saw it last night and thought it was great and we can't wait for the next one! We are die hard Star Wars fans!!

Although this was not your typical starwars movie, it was still a great film in the starwars universe. For those who have not seen the franchise, you could still enjoy the moviw with out knowing much. Just a few details that would make you go wow. If you have seen the rest.

A compelling prequel to the first Star Wars movie aka A New Hope. It finally reveals how the Rebels got the Death Star plans. Very exciting with an epic climax. Well shot with great special effects and the picture and sound quality on the blu-ray is outstanding.

When I saw this movie in the theater I had to rush home and immediately watch the original Star Wars movie. This was the type of story that has been missing from the Star Wars saga and made me want to watch it all over again.

This was an excellent filler to what happened between episodes 3 and 4 of the Star Wars series. It has a slightly different feel than the regular Star Wars episodes, which I suspect they'll do for each of the "Story" movies.

The movie was good but it had a few minor things that dragged it down. For starters the ending is completely predictable (not where it leaves off, I mean within it's own story), the digital overlay for Tarkin was really good the one of princess leia not so much. All in all the movie was a good side trip off the main Star Wars story line and an enjoyable diversion for hardcore fan and casual viewer alike.

Excellent Disc Set. Loved the Blu-ray movie and the bonus disc is easy to navigate and simple to watch with the option to watch all story lines in a row. I highly recommend the disc set for the bonus features.

If you have a 3D TV, do yourself a favor and get this combo-pack (with the 3D blu-ray disc). Great movie either way but you should experience it in 3D.

I was always a STAR WARS fan, but this first stand alone has opened up the stories that can be told indefinitely. A awesome addition to your growing STAR WARS movie and television series collection.

Probably one of the better newer Star Wars movies to come out and these blu ray was a good one to add to the collection.

I have been a fan of Star Wars from when I was a young kid of 8 years old and I have to say this is a great movie and the Death Trooper are freaking amazing. You have to watch this movie ASAP.

If you're a Star Wars fan, and even if you're not, this is a nice addition to the background story of A New Hope. Absolutely loved it, and I love the steelbook! Keep them coming, Best Buy.

This has to be the most original and on of my favorite Star Wars movies. I love the heart of this movie

Yet another Fantastic rendition of the Star Wars Saga Loved it, Loved it, Loved it. Sounds lacking because EVEN 7.1 HD DTS MASTERED , pales in comparison to DOLBYATMOS/ DTS-X FORMAT.

I won't write a review about what I thought of the movie, but from what I can tell so far, the quality of the disk is excellent. The picture is clear and the audio is fantastic.
