Maybe I shouldn't expect the same DVD bonus features in a world of online content and streaming. But "Star Wars" is not just another ephemeral piece of pop culture. As with the initial release of "The Force Awakens", why no commentary? If they had just included one this time, I might even be OK with the absence of deleted scenes. Lucasfilm and Disney have won the old fans back with these new movies, so why can't they go the extra mile and give us the kinds of bells and whistles included in the Episode I-VI Blu-Rays?

Captures some of the original movie nostalgia while remaining fresh. Great dvd/blue ray/digital combo. The description led me to think the digital version was only for Disney's service, but the code was redeemable at a ton of other sites- like Amazon and Google Play. Nice option.

When I watched this in the theater, I thought it was good because it was different. But watching it a second time, knowing who all the characters were and what all the planet's names were, I enjoyed it even more. It truly belongs in the Star Wars movie line. I recommend the movie.

Rogue One is a very exciting film that is sure to entertain more than just Star Wars fans. It has a well thought out plot & stunning special effects. This version is the limited edition steelbook which is a nice collectible as well . A great addition to any Star Wars collection !

Great movie with a lot of extras. Just don't think too hard or you'll see the glaring plotholes lol. Would have loved to see a director's cut before they did the massive reshoots however. Removed one star because I keep repeatedly seeing this with Steelbooks at Best Buy: whomever is opening them at the store clearly is sticking their box cutter way too deep and nicking every single one midway on the spine, causing damage to the paintjob. Shame that sloppy employees results in lots of damaged product on the shelves.

I was happy to hear new star wars movies were being made this film shows what happens right up to star wars original film now known as a new hope i have to say i missed all the lightsaber fights but with that being said this movie held its own . must buy if you are a star wars fan

Received an order conformation in a timely manner, and the same held true for my notification that my order was ready for pickup. Upon arrival at the Bear Valley store in Victorville, CA. The Best Buy employee handled my order promptly. I was out of the store within a few minutes.

Has a lot of Easter eggs in this movie that Star Wars fans might enjoy at the same time there was a lot of parts that didn't need to be in it was this movie necessary to add to the Star Wars series...No was it good...Yes I won't deny that but the world could have lived without it.

Very good storytelling that predates “A New Hope”. The effects of some of the reprised characters are not well done, as it felt like the very end was rushed.

I'm a huge Star Wars (not as much the prequel as the original) and I really enjoyed this movie. It really did an excellent job bridging the gap between episode 3 and 4. A must watch for all Star Wars fans. If you want to watch in chronological order watch between episodes 3 and 4

I bought the 3-D bluray and love it. I like this movie more and more each time I want it. Whereas Episode VII was too similar to Episode IV, this had its own beats and plot points. Which is weird because its plot was bookended by Episode III and IV. Great movie, 3D is cool, too.

When we saw this in the theaters, there was something wrong with the projector which was a major distraction and made it hard to concentrate on the plot line. Having the BRD now is a much better viewing experience and the plot is better when you can actually see what's going on.

This is a movie that is not like other movies in the Star Wars Universe. Things are more gritty, there is more emphasis on the struggle of the rebels against the empire rather than the jedi. This difference welcome as it fits so well together and makes a very entertaining movie.

Spoilers aside, the film is solid. The reason this packaging is great is because it's a Best Buy exclusive, which comes with a steelbook for the movie. This goes great with my other steelbooks. Also with this product includes a Disney Anywhere code for a digital copy of the film.

Don't let the fact that this is not a continuation of the saga keep you away. This is a fantastic film that stands on its own and also fits neatly into an established series. That is no easy feat. A great mix of new characters and some appearances from those we have seen before.

Only gripe that no one talks about...it was clear in episode 3 that bail organa was older than obi wan...they should have made him look older for this film because this takes place right before episode 4, and Alec Guinness obi wan is much older and bail organa has barely changed.

Rogue One perfectly encapsulates the Star Wars universe without leaning too hard on its predecessors. Although there is an abundance of call backs and easter eggs, it is a self contained movie that tells a fantastic story with new characters that are easy to cheer for and love.

What a great movie that complements the original movies by offering great explanations and plot points that fill in the saga. It is great. It is sometimes criticized as being a fan film, but that makes no sense. All films should be for the fans. Its a legitimate story on its own.

Rogue One is an entertaining and exciting spin-off in the Star Wars universe, taking place between the prequel trilogy and the original trilogy. Felicity Jones gives one of her best performances as Jyn. The picture quality is crisp on Blu-Ray, and the sound quality is excellent.
