Unlike the Force Awakens Disney has released the 3D version on launch day, not 6+ months later. If you are a 3D fan (like me) this is the version to have with 3D/2d Blu ray, DVD, as well as the Digital HD for VUDU or Disney Movies Anywhere! A great value for all the versions.

We all knew Princess Leia got the plans for the Death Star in New Hope, but the how we never knew. I wasn't sure a cast of characters we weren't very familiar with could be successful. Boy was I wrong. Great story, great characters, and great direction in this instant classic

The Star Wars franchise just keeps delivering action packed fun movies for an incredible 8 times. This movie is extremely fast paced and the ending is the perfect prelude to episode 4-A New Hope. I am a fan of this series and I strongly recommend it if you like sci-fi movies.

You just can't get enough Star Wars? This movie revives some of the old characters, as well as many new ones. The movie plot and action was fantastic. This movie actually answers some of the plot questions from the other movies. If your a Star Wars fan, this movie is for you!

Greatest Stars Wars movie to date two thumbs up! Where do I start the characters the cinematography the story and let's not forget the incredible special effects! This movie has it all and more I guarantee you you will not be disappointed! Best Star Wars movie I've ever seen!

Does a terrific job filling in the blanks leading up to the original movie. Contains quite a few "callbacks" to the previous movies and, as a standalone, is a pretty good action flick. The extras are worth watching and add to the overall appreciation of the movie.

It's just great to glimpse this universe in ways that don't revolve specific central characters we all know. This is the first Star Wars film to effectively tackle, warfare, zealotry and tyranny in a way that feels resonant in a way that isn't at least partially sanitized.

I'm afraid to admit this maybe my second favorite SW movie aside from ESB - really fun and tight movie, tho the beginning is a bit disjointed with exposition, still a lot of fun and that Vader scene at the end makes it all worth it! Fantastic movie with nice special features

I really enjoyed how this film positions itself among the Star Wars franchise as an additional Star Wars saga. It adds to the storyline of the 1-9 series while remaining consistent with all you would expect from one of these films. I am a definite fan and highly recommend!

A Star Wars fan for as long as I could remember, I knew I was going to buy this movie no matter what, after being unable to see it in the theaters. I was not disappointed, I really enjoyed it. Great action and seeing how things came about in between episodes 3 & 4 was great.

This is what the Rebellion looked like to those who weren't friends with Luke Skywalker. Endless Stormtroopers, unfathomable super weapons pointed at you(r planet), skies filled with TIE Fighters, and death around every corner. I can't recommend this highly enough!

Really only negative thing about this film is that it's not 4K/UHD. Besides that, Gareth Edwards did an amazing job with Rogue One, blending nostalgia with a great new story. If you loved the original trilogy but hated the prequels, you will more than likely love this film.

Rogue One backfill s the story leading up to the "first" Star Wars - A New Hope. This movie can be enjoyable for long time Star Wars fans and new to the franchise fans alike. The character development isn't as thorough - and it doesn't need to be. It is a fun, action filled story of a rag tag band of rebels coming together for something bigger than all of them. It epitomizes the contributions of all the unsung rebels through Star Wars films, and delivers it with George Lucas' standard visual excellence.

this movie was poetry. star wars poetry. and like all poetry...it ends beautifully tragic. if you're a star wars fan and want to forget all about episodes 1-3, then this movie is for you. plus if you can find the steelbook still, the deathtroopers will protect your discs.

Added Rouge One to my Star Wars collection. It was NOT my primary reason for being in the store but the movie was ON SALE and was close to the checkout area so i stumbled upon it while walking to the checkout with my other purchase. Good product placement for an impulse buy

I really enjoyed this movie. I have been a Star Wars fan since 1977. I enjoyed The Force Awakens, but there was something off about the film that made it seem like "fake Star Wars." I didn't get that feeling with Rogue One. This is real Star Wars, and I highly recommend it.

Being an avid Star Wars fan for years, I'm worry that this franchise will come to an end sooner or later. Hopefully later. As always, excellent casting decisions. New faces and characters will come and go, but Chewbacca will always be Chewie. Solid plot with great graphics,

Saw it in the theatre. Probably my favorite star wars film. loved the action and story. great characters, good special affects, never a dull moment. this copy comes with 4 discs and a digital download for only $25. and they come in a cool steelbook case. highly recommended.

Rogue One expands the Star Wars universe while still maintaining the same feel as the original trilogy. The action is top-notch and this movie really makes A New Hope somehow better by offering better context and understanding of who the Rebellion and the Empire really are.

I knew I wanted this movie because it is Star Wars. I bought it without even seeing it first, but it was the combo pack with Blu-ray, dvd and digital copy with ITunes and I love that. I don't use any other digital format so I love when I can get the combo pack with ITunes.
