This is the back story of how the rebels obtained the Death Star plans. It is set just before episode 4 - A New Hope which, of course, was the first of the Star Wars movies to come out. This is a good addition to the series. Characters and story line are both excellent

This film, while not part of the original Star Wars "triple trilogy", gives us background as to what happened to set up the action in Start Wars episode 4 (The "First" Star Wars Episode released). Has great special effects and plenty of action. Very entertaining.

If you haven’t seen this yet, please go and purchase a copy on bluray to get the full uncompressed 1080p experience. Very cool story that takes place right before SW episode 4 begins ( if you’re into watching the films in a linear fashion) Highly recommended!

I had heard nothing but good reviews on this movie from my friends and my kids wanted to see it badly. Ordered it online as we were not going to be at a store anytime soon and it arrived promptly and in good shape. The movie played without issues and was very entertaining. The fact that I enjoyed Star Wars as a kid and now I get to relive that with my children with new versions just made it even better. I only rate the very best of anything five stars and only rarely which explains the rating.

What I liked best is all the action and battle scenes. The space battles looked like war plane dog fight sequence. We don't get a lot of character development and I'm ok with that. Overall, it was fun to watch. Finally get to see Vader in action unlike previous films.

i loved this movie, great cinematography and the story flows well. I really would love to see the Star Wars movies released in the 4K format, I'm sure we will someday, and Disney will take some more of my $$$ but in the meantime this is a must own for your collection!

Picked up this steelbook version of Rogue One. The steelbook is great and holds four disc; one of the is a 3D copy of the movie on Blu-ray as well. If you have a 3D HDTV, this is the one to get (until the 4K version comes out). One of the best SW movies in my opinion.

Rogue One is a good movie that gets away from the usual Jedi vs. Sith saga. It harks back to the old days of Star Wars and the rise of the empire and rebellion, however neither side have clear, unified objectives and struggles emerge which present a little more complexity than needed, bogging down the story. Rogue One saves itself from this by offering up the best battle scenes and special effects of any Star Wars movie making it worth having in any collection of Star Wars movies.

I really enjoyed this movie. The first 30 minutes are a bit slow but overall I had fun with this movie. The blu-ray looks great on any high def TV. I would definitely recommend this to any star wars fan. Comes loaded with great special features. Solid blu-ray release.

Great film. The robot sidekick was just the right amount of comic relief. This is how sidekicks should be, not Jar Jar Binks! I love the PG-13 tone of the Disney produced films. Star Wars has a great future.

As a life long fan of the Star Wars franchise and after seeing the prequels, I wasn’t too hopeful that this would be any good... I was pleasantly surprised! I’m not going to break down the story line here, I’m just going to recommend it... Star Wars fan or not!

I always choose to buy my DVDs and Music at Best Buy. They always have a great selection of current must see movies and music. Plus the have great customer service! I had been going buy the Rogue One Starwars edition and decided to get it. At Best Buy of course!

Rogue One is an incredible prologue to Episode IV. Vader's main scene in the film is worth the purchase by itself, but the rest of the story is no slouch either. Great characters and intriguing storyline. Best Buy's steelbook is beautiful to boot. Highly recommended.

Rogue One was the story that began the Star Wars Saga. I say that because it is the story of how the Rebels got the plans to the Death Star that Luke Skywalker destroyed Star Wars IV, A New Hope. It was great movie, but of course the ending was sad.

I highly recommend this movie, and my family and I have watched it multiple times. For not being tied to the original Star Wars storyline, the characters are great and it was surprisingly a very good movie. Something that you can watch several times.

When I saw Rouge One: A Star Wars story in the Theater it immediately became one of my favorite Star Wars movies of all time (Maybe third after the New Hope and Empire). I knew I would buy it on Bluray, and it had to be the best, that is, BestBuy's SteelBook edition.

I love that BB has these steelbooks in 3D. There not a better bang for your buck. I will say that I was a little disappointed in this particular one just because it was kind of blah compared to all the others like Avengers. Still love my steelbook collection though!

The second best Star Wars movie ever. So much better than episode seven. Rey was a Mary Sue in the force awakens not the hero we wanted. But in rogue one we got the strong female lead we wanted. Not perfect but kick butt . Rogue One is how you make a Star Wars movie.

I really enjoyed this movies storyline. I've always liked the franchise, some movies less than others. However the combination of special effects and new storytelling is refreshing. I encourage those fans both new and old of the franchise to give it a chance viewing.
