After all of the hype, and the burning question about the many lives lost to get the plans to the Death Star, I was left somewhat disappointed by the movie's plot. Additionally, at times the audio portion of the movie was so loud or so disconcerting, that it was difficult to hear the dialog. Maybe my expectations were too high?

This film was a bold move by Disney to step outside of the Skywalker saga and they nailed it. Some of the best Star Wars storytelling in since the original trilogy.

Great movie and awesome experience ordering from Best Buy. I received the movie the day before it was released and got an awesome deal. The movie is obviously Epic!

One of the biggest surprise movies of the year. I know its weird calling star wars a surprise but a prequel side story could've been a stretch but it was fantastic

Great movie and great plot. Dare I say it....even better than the last Jedi. Unfortunately, there can be no part 2 due to what happens with this whole story.

Brilliant movie. Possibly only second to ESB in its execution. Soundtrack isn't quite up to star wars standards but still good. Sad that they didn't use the crawl.

This Star Wars episode is an outstanding addition to the overall storyline. The characters are not just likable, but very engaging to watch and easy to care about.

I preordered this and was extremely satisfied. it came in a slip cover that was beautiful. I was disappointed with the special features but loved the movie!

Nice little appendage to the Star Wars movies. Not leading to the structural story of the other seven movies but helps explain a little between story 3 and 4. A great band of ruffians to go into a suicide mission to help to rebel fleet. A bunch of no names everyone, roughly. Great sound and picture to a very interesting story.

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed the movie. Guess I just didn't get what all the hype was. It was really good, I just don't think it's as great as every says.

story takes place right before a new hope !!! want to know how the rebels got the death star plans watch this !!! its awesome you know it already who am I kidding.

I really enjoyed this movie, but more so after watching the animated series "Clone Wars" and "Rebels." I also understood more after the second viewing.

This movie was very well done, and didn't require much knowledge about star wars from the viewer to really enjoy the film. Perfect prelude movie to the originals.

This movie connected a lot of dots for me and brought me back to being 8 years old again. It made the beginning of A New Hope seem so different and more important.

This movie is quite easily in the top three Star Wars of all time. If lack of known characters concerns you than the is a disturbance in your force.

Definitely one of the best Star Wars movies in a long time. Much better story line than Episode VII and it wraps up the gap between Episode III and IV very nicely.

This movie is able to give people a look into the beginning point of the original trilogy. The movie has an amazing story and the characters are worth remembering.

The Star Wars crew has really switched up the order of the story. The real first episode is 4. So this would of been 3.5 or something. Good movie but if you have not watched the series this will be a little confusing when you do... Not sure about this one. But I did like it but I felt I already knew what was going to happen...
