One of my top 5 favorite films of all time. Great acting performance, solid story, and incredible visual and sound effects and soundtrack. By far my favorite Star Wars film.

Yeah, I know everyone has tossed in ad naseum for every movie of this franchise. Generally speaking I was always for newer movies that go beyond the original trilogy to be at least twice removed from the original plot line. This one isn't and so I assumed it was going to somehow suffer the undertow of producers eschewing talent and ingenuity for riding on the coattails of the originals. Thank goodness this movie did no such thing and did a great job tossing the ball into the air to layup original Ep. 4. Just my humble opinion of course but beyond the original three this movie is the best.

originally filmed in 4k so there is no loss. i thought this movie was ok in its debut but over time i've come to admire it a lot more than the star wars 7-9. audio and video are up to 4k spec

A great collection to add to your Star Wars movies!

This was a great movie for not being part of the core Star Wars movies! I actually like it better than parts 1-3 and the Solo movies. Worth a buy in the May 4th sale.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is the first standalone movie in the Star Wars saga and is easily one of the best movies in the saga. It takes place mere weeks before Episode IV: A New Hope and explores how the Rebel Alliance captured the Death Star plans. What ensues is a beautiful and exciting journey that brings unlikely allies together to serve a greater purpose. Perhaps the most memorable character is K2-SO, a reprogrammed imperial security droid who provides the comedic relief in the film, much like C-3PO and R2-D2 do in the other films (although K2 provides a different form of comedy). The film provides many small details that allude to many of the other films, and TV shows that can only be discovered upon multiple viewings, but with a movie this good you will want to watch it again and again.

Worth the watch & rewatch. In my top 3 Star Wars films
