Low cost device that is great for Netflix. Also has a large number of free channels. Also use it to stream media from computer using PLEX.

Fairly easy to set up and use! Great alternative to cable however there are fees associated with subscribing to the different apps.

I have an extra tv which is not a smart tv, Roku made it smarter than the others, sound and video are great an truly easy to operate.

Can't go wrong with it, it's a really easy to use product and my children enjoy them. They have a lot of great features. I buy them as gifts.

I purchased a Roku so I could have shows to watch, without paying for cable TV. It was very easy to hook up and worked immediately.

this little box pulls in all those features like netflix hulu etc. easy setup. BUT you have to pay extra for each of these features.

The roku is easy to navigate and combined with netflix provides a great entertainment source. I purchased a second unit on sale.

We were told since half the house has Apple products and half has android products we should get this version, but it lags and stops when we use it to watch regular tv; however, it runs Netflix great so it does do some of what we want. Our biggest thing is sports and watching a big game with gaps in the middle is very frustrating!

I bought the Roku1/14/16. The Roku 1 streaming device does a good job of streaming video and provides many channels to watch free TV and/or monthly paid service such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. and I would recommend it on that basis. At the time of purchase Roku offered a 3 month free trial of Hulu limited commercial and 30 day HBO and Showtime. However, Roku did not honor their agreement to provide 3 months of Hulu for free. They did provide 30 day free HBO and Showtime. I have tried to request assistance thorough several chats for assistance on Roku website and have been advised on THREE different occasions that they would escalate the case to their specialist to help me get the 3 months Hulu free trial and each time that I could expect the feedback within 24-48 hours. It has now been several weeks and no response or results was ever received. In my opinion I do not consider this very good customer service on behalf of Roku. So if Roku is offering a special offering for free trial subscription when you purchase the Roku streaming device, do not count on getting it or count on customer service to resolve the issue.

We have one really, really old TV! It is not worth attaching a cable box to so we purchased the Roku. We can watch a lot of programming via the easy to install Roku (Netflix, Hulu, etc.). It is a lot cheaper than paying an expensive monthly cable fee!!

Love my Roku it works great no problems!! Get to have all my apps on one thing without having to hook up different electronics.

Was lead to this product because I wanted to get to PureFlix. This device was very easy to install and start using right away.

Roku is the best....I love it! Got rid of regular cable....No need for it anymore......Got plenty to watch here!!!!!!!!!!!

The Roku 1 hooks up to my 1999, big back 55 in Hitachi and now I can stream video. I'm keeping my old tv, it works perfectly!

I set it up, and set up account in 15 minutes. It's fast and easy to move to other tv,s in your house. Easy for beginners!!
