Easy to install/use; versatile for all my tv sets.

I was looking for some time of device to use to stream from my Amazon Prime and Netflix. Since I have an older TV without HDMI, I purchased the Roku 1 because it had the old RCA cables included with it. Set it up in minutes and have really enjoyed using it.

This device provides easy setup and hours of fun!!

This model allowed connecting to older tv plus will allow for upgrade to newer tv.

THE ROKU 1 WORKS GREAT WITH OLDER NON FLAT SCREEN TV AND SHOWS AVERAGE PICTURE QUALITY

I bought this for my 69 year old father. He was able to use it right out of the box.

Already had a Blu-ray player with internet capability but it wasn't wireless and I had to run a 25' ethernet cable across the floor to my router - not an acceptable solution. While it worked fine, the Roku-1 was a low-cost alternative and at <$50, well worth the price. Very easy to setup, only had one glitch so far - suddenly lost access to Netflix even though all my other devices worked fine. Turns out the solution is to remove, then re-install the Netflix app - Roku support to the rescue! One other small issue: some of the apps which allow access to cable channels (e.g., A&E, H2, etc) require you to enable the Roku device via logging onto the channel's website and selecting your cable provider. In my case, Uverse was not on the list of several of these channels so I am stuck with just those programs they choose to unlock. Still researching this problem (not a Roku problem I wouldn't think - sounds like somebody wants add'l payment...)

its a bit slow, i wish they would state that on the box.....but it does the job.

This is one of the best and most inexpensive way to make any TV into a Smart TV. For a 1 time fee of $49.99 you can have Internet access and access to popular apps (like YouTube and Netfkix) on your TV...Transforming it into a Smart TV...Without paying the hefty price tag...It doesn't get any better than this!!

This item delivers. It's a great tv for the price. Sharp colors, great picture.

What can I say... It does what it's suppose to. It's really quite simple. It streams media to your tv. No bells, no whistles. Simple install, simple use and allowed me to disconnect my TV service and stream my TV & movies saving an estimated $1,200 a year! Well worth it

My wife and I use this device for a variety of streaming services and it's great!

The only Roku streaming player wich have RCA connection. That is what i was need.

This product is the only one to buy for use with older TVs that are not SMART TVs

Bought this for my youth group at church to stream you tube and it works great.

Roku is the best thing ever. I now have them on every television in my home. I have more movies, channels, and television shows I can watch without a high monthly cable bill. Once you purchase the Roku, all you have to pay is a low cost for Netflix per month, which is no more than $10. Pandora comes with it. Just sign up online and then sign in on your Roku and you're good to go.

This was easy to hook up and tied into our internet router quickly and easily.
