Roku has been a fabulous streaming device. I was worried at first because I'm a little technically challenged but this device was a simple set up and easy to use.

I'm new to high tech things but jumped in in a big way. It is all new to me and very exciting. I'm retired & my ROKU is a hit, a good fit, and an important part of my everyday. It works well and I think of it as treasure. I've got to go watch it, bye.//

I own a 2015 Chevrolet Suburban with dual overhead video displays. The Suburban does not have hdmi inputs so this was the only was to stream Netflix in the car. The Suburban has a house hold outlet and 3 rca jacks, red, whit, and yellow. I use my hotspot in the car and my kids can watch all the Netflix or online streaming they want. I also use it I the house with both picture tube televisions and televisions with hdmi inputs. If you have a tv without hdmi inputs, this allows you to turn it into a smart tv. Very good solution for the price.

Purchased this item for my in laws so they can watch their favorite shows on Netflix. They are super happy and was very easy to set up. Safe to say I think we got them the best Christmas gift because of this item. Points for the daughter in law!

great piece of equipment but disappointed that you have to pay for programming after spending that much money to purchase the electronic device; I spent as much to get the programming uploaded as I did on the actual purchase of the device

Our friends recommended this Ruko to us, cheaper way to watch movies on Ruko and Netflix than paying for the expensive cable companies for channels we don't have time to watch or will never watch. It's our first one, we love the easy set up and can move around to your channels easily. We had it for two months problem free. We would and have recommended this product to others. Thank you Ruko, and Best Buy Sales Associate for helping us make the right decision.

We use this for the WWE Network. The box, which is small, tucks behind the TV nicely, and we bring it out when it needs to be used. You have to point the remote at the box, or else it will not work. The streaming system works really well, but you have to make sure you have strong wifi/internet connection to get it started and when it is in use. It does not update quickly or stream nicely if you do not have good signal. Overall it has been worth it

This is the best solution for TV's that do not have built-in wireless. It is very easy to install. The instruction are simple to follow. It works fine even with a marginal signal. The selection goes far beyond the expected Netflix, Hulu etc.

Excellent item, easy set up. Plenty of channels to choose. I would recommend this item to all my friends and family. Thinking of upgrading to the Roku3.

I absolutely love my Roku! Great deal and options! I have severed ties with the cable company and I am saving so much money while still enjoying the shows and movies I love. I couldn't have made a better decision.

The Roku 1 is a great value in a sea of countless media devices. It is easy to set up. It works well. Offers so many media options. Highly recommended

Did not know what I was missing. Had a mirrored set in the craft room & had to constantly run to another room to change channels. Also did not get so many channels, movies & netflix on the mirrored set. Now I spend more time in the craft room.

Great product especially for the price. Great for adding content to your TV to watch or if you are cutting cable/satellite like I did with no monthly fees. They do offer paid subscriptions on some channels and options to rent movies, but not required to use. The registration process is a bit long, but once you are registered all other units you connect to other TV's in your home are set up automatically. This unit is a bit on the slower side so if you want faster speed go with the Roku 3, supposedly it's much faster. Overall I really enjoy this unit.

This is a great component when you do not have a smart DVD player nor cable dvr. We use it to view Netflix for our little one. It is a great gift for even a guest room or man cave. Offers other options for online streaming viewing.

I have two at home with high speed internet. Never fails. Auto updates. Easy to hook up to sound system for a great entertainment experience

I love my Roku. I like the fact that channels can be added. It is easy to use. I also like that I can use my IPad as a remote to operate it.

Bought the Roku for my daughter so she could watch YouTube and Netflix plus it came with a fee month of Hulu so that was great. It was easy to install and my 9 year old daughter csn use it without any assistance from me.

This is a nice little box. It works with my older style tv that is not a flat screen. Came with rca hookups. My only complaint is it does not have a power button. The box stays on all the time. Overall I like it.

We were so excited to have Netflix and the support person I called from Roku was awesome. He talked us through the entire thing and would not hang up until everything was up and running! Very pleasant experience!
