I have 2 Roku boxes and plan on expanding by 2 more. With these attached to my TV sets I can watch more than I can on my main set which has Imy cable.

I purchased this unit to work with a seldom used RCA 52" HDTV that has no HDMI but DVI. I was truly surprised. The picture is great, 'big box' sound outstanding, and the array of channels, movies, news, TV shows, and especially music, never ending. It's so good I bought three; one as a birthday gift. This 'cheap' unit has got to be the best value in entertainment available in today's market!

Being a wrestling fan, I wanted something to stream the WWE network. After viewing their site and reading a few reviews, I decided to get the Roku1 because if I didn't like it , I wouldn't feel like I was ripped off. The results were exactly the opposite and would recommend it to anyone looking for a streaming device

I purchased this item to be used in my car while traveling. Using a 4g mobile hotspot to provide my connections its almost like having cable in the car.

The Roku is a great present for anyone; I've bought 3 for my family members. Great apps and great service.

The Roku like every other streaming device (AppleTV, AmazonFire, & Chromecast) can give your non-smart TV the abilities of a smart TV. While it does accomplish what it says, it does it poorly in comparison to the AppleTV or even a Playstation 3. I bought it for my mother but we found it to be slow, cumbersome, and outdated. The Netflix app on this is the worst. It's poorly designed and unable to switch users on the same account. My mother is keeping it but I do not recommend it.

This is a great and inexpensive substitute for cable TV. You can always find something on that you like with no commercials to interrupt your program :)

Hooked up the Roku to the tv and it worked great. Very easy to install.

I like my Roku, it's so compact and useful! I would recommend to anyone.

My old trusty cordless headphones won't work with the newer ROKU models since the new ROKU does not have stereo jacks on it. This ROKU-1 does work fine.

This roku player is great it's pretty fast and it gets the job done but the only thing I dislike is there no direct pandora on the remote to go straight to it

Roku stick is a good substitute for Roku 3 plus being portable but as with all wifi products there is a slight delay compared with the hardwired variety.

MY inlaws loved this for their Christmas gift! They really loved something different this year and it took me 15 minutes to set up and teach them.

I didn't want to have to pay for an additional cable box in my daughters room, since they tend to watch TV in the downstairs playroom or stream on their handheld devices. I got this unit for them so they could watch Netflix/Hulu/etc in their room when they have play dates or sleepovers with friends. Works great and setup was simple. No regrets and highly recommend.

I canceled my cable TV when I bought my Roku. I did keep my wireless cable. I now save $140 a month. My favorite apps are Netflixs and AmazonPrime.

Easy setup and after that it works very good without any problems.

This is a great product if you don't want to pay for cable and just want to use Netflix and other apps.

As mentioned, it gets the job done but it's very, very basic. There were some streaming issues as far as quality goes but that may have been my ISP.

Roku is a more cost-effective alternative to Apple TV with all the same main apps I, personally, use (Netflix, Hulu, HBO Go, WatchESPN, etc.)

Had to buy this model due to old tv that was did not have a digital tuner. Hooked up the Ruko I thru DVD player to tv. Required three remotes, but bought new universal remote that eliminated the other two so only need one remote now. Easy set up. No problem with subscribing to channels or interfacing with wireless. But ONLY buy this is you have an old tv.
