This is a good product which gives a lot more choices to look at. Almost ready to cut off cable.

This worked great for what I needed it to do. I had an old projection screen tv that was made just before HDMI. So the analog plug ins are what I needed. I have wifi in an unattached back metal building, and now I have all of my cable channels without running a hardline.

The Roku was the perfect solution that I was looking for.

We don't have to pay teh ridiculous fees from satelite or cable so this more than pays for itself

I didn't have HDTV so I couldn't buy the latest however this selection is perfect for my needs.

I bought this for my 8 yr old daughter and she loves it. Great for Netflix and Hulu watchers.

Only downfall is a lot of the apps require u to have cable thru a network provider in order to view them, such as HGTV. Which, in my opinion, if im going to pay for cable, its pointless getting the Roku. I'm sure it has its uses but ....Otherwise the Roku itself works well

It started out well. I got the Roku screen I read about but it wouldn't accept my internet ID. When I tried to get them on-line, I was directed to "Just Answers" and the nightmare began. Every page sent me back to the page asking for money. When I finally got through to a tech in the "Chat" option, I couldn't answer him and he finally signed out. They admitted they were having site problems but that kind of makes me wonder why they are in the business they are in and had to finally block them to get them to leave me alone. I'm sure I've wasted $15.00 (good faith money until they give me the final bill-certainly didn't say that up front) before but I asked them to keep it just to leave me alone. Roku needs to remove itself from "Just Answers" and if it is sold at Best Buy, the Geek Squad should be contacted. That's what I plan to do to get the modern convenience hooked up. As I haven't seen it work, yet; I might let someone know about it. My dental hygienist told me about it so it must work.

We love the Roku! After having to huddle around a laptop to watch Netflix, we decided it was time to splurge on a Roku. The Roku 1 has all of the basics that we need. It is able to connect to an older TV (one without an HDMI port), and streams easily with our wireless internet connection.

We bought a few of these so that we could have Netflix on every television in the house. We quickly realized that we no longer used our cable and actually decided to get rid of it. Also, every box can be programmed into your phone using their app so you do not need a remote for each room.

I'm learning more tech stuff and this is an EASY way to upgrade the TV in my workout area.

Doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the newer versions but is great for my older TV.

This is actually my second Roku unit, as I sold my previous Roku 2 HD. For an entry level this is perfect. The low price makes this a must buy for the potential cable cutter, and the vast number of channels available is staggering. Used mostly for Netflix, MLB.TV, and the WWE Network.

This product is amazing. It is easy to use and easy to setup. I am not a very technological person, but even I was able to set it up and use it. I recommend this product to everyone. It is great for all ages young and old.
