This is the third Roku I have purchased. I like the easy set up and ease of use to stream shows directly to the tv.. The kids have no trouble finding their shows and cuts down fights over the tablet.

Purchased this for my mom because she has an old tube television which doesn't have an hdmi input. She was using a Blu-ray player to watch netflix and immediately noticed a difference in picture quality.

Easy and strong connection to wireless Internet. I can watch all my favorite apps. Love it. I first got Chromecast and that was a disappointment. Bad connection and poor resolution. I love my Roku 1 ♡

Useful if you don't want to stream from your tablet or smartphone. Most things worth watching will cost you fees. Free streams like Nowhere TV have buffering delays.

Bought this for my mother - she watches Netflix at our house all the time, but they don't have an internet ready TV. So for Christmas, she got a Roku 1. Got a call the day after we set it up with a squeal of glee. :)

very good product we are enjoying netfilix etc It was very easy to hook up and we can watch several movies my husband enjoys it the most watching all his movies

Works well. I needed a Roku with the standard RCA Cables (the red, white and yellow plug) for my non HD TV. I bought the new version of the Roku 1 and strangely enough the remote does not have a headphone plug (whereas I have an older Roku 2 that does have a headphone plug). One thing i don't like about the Roku is the tedious way the company has you typing in the names of movies or shows on your tv screen. It's a lot of button pushing. Not ideal.

I love my Roku1... Obviously easy to set up, add channels via the Roku or your PC, the remote is an added benefit.. There are many free channels & videos or some pay channels too either way I love my Roku..

As a very low skilled tech person, I hesitated to buy this, but Roku is inexpensive and easy to install. Makes it possible to stream movies through NetFlix and other groups. I was very happy with this product.

Once we got the Roku setup we were able to setup Netflix, (a christmas gift for my mother), and Plex. Its easy and reliable enough to use for mom and she likes being able to watch movies without going to rebox.

I mainly bought this to stream Netflix in the bedroom. Takes up a lot less space than the Wii. I like the dedicated Netflix button, ease of use, and variety of channels you can add. Would recommend to others.

We got rid of cable but can watch older shows on channels we don't buy everyday like a&e.you need hulu plus but that's only 7.99 a month.was very easy to set up on my own.works like if you gave a wee system.

The unit does all that the sales person said it would do and was extremely easy to hook up. It completely satisfied what I wanted to accomplish. I am glad to see that the product is manufactured in the USA.

Bought this for my folks, who can use it without any difficulty. So simple and intuitive. We actually liked it so much we bought one for the in-laws too!
