Needed this device for an older TV that didn't have any hdmi ports available. Connected well and streams Netflix successfully.

Got this so my wife could watch more "old" shows. Roku is adding more channels all the time. Best bang for your buck in streaming sources.

Bought this version because I needed something to watch Amazon prime & it had a VGA hookup (my tv's hdmi's were all taken)

I couldn't have made a better purchase, the ROKU 1 has a great price. It was easy to set up and to get started watching TV.

This roku is great. It replaced an earlier Roku model that stopped working. This is small and light-weight and navigation is easy to use.

This is real easy to setup and use, many options for viewing a real nice unit. Looking at getting another one or two :)

I bought this as s gift for my parents. Was very easy to set up-took little time. They find it easy to use and love what it offers them.

Our home already had an AppleTV and another Roku device and we find the streaming content to be much more interesting than our DirecTV programming options. The lady of the house wanted another streaming device in her sewing room and this inexpensive Roku met her needs very nicely. Set up is very easy and the subscription services are very reasonably priced compared to cable or satellite services. In our home, the vast majority of our TV entertainment is provided by streaming sources.

I haven't had one single issue with the roku since I purchased it. It was the perfect fit for the finishing of my bedroom.

We love our Roku stream player that we purchased and the kids enjoy watching movies and not having to waite for a specific time or day.

This is the second Roku 2 I purchased and it works great. Easy set up just need your network password and computer nearby. There area several channels pre-loaded on the Roku and several more you can add from your computer or from the TV. I have another streaming box that I bought that gets "hung up" quite frequently but I don't have that issue with the Roku. Good HD quality picture. Need HDMI cable with box to use.

This is an amazing product: for only about $60 you expand your entertainment options--both TV shows and movies--almost without limit, especially if you subscribe to Netflix streaming (or Amazon Prime, or Hulu Plus, etc.). And there are lots of free channels too, with plenty of free content to explore. It has improved our entertainment system immeasurably. I liked it so much I got one for my in-laws, who are now able to stream all their favorite British mystery series in order, any time, which they're really enjoying.

The ability to be backwards compatible with older model televisions and newer HDMI TVs makes it incredibly versatile.

I never had a device like this and it works great and is so fun to play with and watch movies like Netflix and hulu

We have been using Roku for a few years and have never had any difficulties. We like the variety the Roku box offers

This was very easy to hook up and works very well for me. Who needs to pay for cable TV when you can watch shows whenever you want.

The Ruku Streaming Player is a great little product, I have the Ruku 2 XD and this one is just as good. Plex and Netflix work well

Nice upgrade from the old Apple TV. Able to download many different application available on the previous version

We have one in each bedroom ! Love that it is so user friendly. Perfect way to keep up with your favorite shows on your schedule !
