Good alternative if you are not addicted to cable

Many shows are available only with a cable connection or with subscription fees that bring you right back to the cost of cable. On the plus side, you can find old, even antique TV and movies that will never be on cable. On the down side of that is the fact that there are commercials (usually the same ones over and over) every 6-8 minutes. Overall, mostly satisfied. For a one-time cost of ~$60 we got rid of the same amount on the cable bill per month.
