This is my fourth ruko. It was a gift for my mother. She moved her tv from one room to an other room. Instead of running cable I gave her the ruko. She loves it as I love all my rukos that I have on all my tv's.

I already own a Roku 3 that I love immensely. I wanted to add some streaming capability to an old Sony Trinitron TV set we have at home that still works beautifully and this did the trick. A great purchase.

Purchased this version for my older model tv that doesn't have hdmi. It works great. Just can't get some of my favorite shows because roku doesn't have a connection to my cable provider for that network.

Works great for old tv in bedroom and portable for tv in garage. Definitely slower than Roku 3 I have in the living room.

Easy to use and straight foward.love all the apps.lets you know if its free or you have to pay.Hulu is great to watch.Get my favorite shows anytime and watch my local channels on rabbit ears.Its perfect.

Roku 1 chosen since it has both an HDMI output for newer TVs and Video plug output for older TVs. The Video output also goes directly into my Cablevision set top box to provide very easy access to ROKU

This player is adequate for those who do need a basic player to access some apps and sites not generally on cable or dish networks. It is simple to use which allows virtually everyone to be able to use it.

We purchased this for our son's tv which is an older tv without HDMI and the Roku 1 works great. I do wish it had the newer Netflix menu where you can pick profiles but other than that no complaints.

Love the screen interface. It is better than my Samsung smart TV. This unit is on an SD TV and works great. Only issue is Nettflix only shows main account holder preferences, but not sub account members.

I wanted a Roku in my one room. But, the tv is an old one, before all of the extra hookups. The tv works beautifully so I hated the idea of getting rid of it just for a Roku. This model hooks up perfectly and was very easy to do. Just plug in the red, white and yellow plugs. Then follow the instructions to set up an account and you're done. And it works perfectly.

The original, non HD roku....works great with the old non hd tvs....don't add to the landfill, get a roku and breathe new life in an old tv....like it so much that I have the other 3 versions on my HD tvs

I have newer models of the Roku streamer but this one has RCA plugs which allow me to hook up the player to older TV's and DVD recorders. Of course, this player accesses the same channels as the newer models. So, instead of sending your old gear to thew town dump, rejuvenate them with this inexpensive fix.

Fantastic item & we love it. Easy to use & get ready to go. Works awesome with our wireless connection!!! Thanks to the saleperson that showed it to us & took the time to explain it. Saved me over $ 200.00 in stuff I didn't need. Saleperson showed us what we needed & how to use it. He also explained that we didn't need a Blueray player to get the Netflix & media for our projection room!!

Easy set up. Bonus Disney! Our 10 year old thoroughly enjoys the shows he can view. I couldn't stand the thought of spending more money on cable, especially for his room. This fit the bill just fine..

We have used Roku to primarily access Amazon and Netflix. It was so easy my computer-challenged husband is able to use with no issue. We want to get another one for a secondary television.

Works like a charm, you won't be disappointed with this. Very easy set up and easy to use. So cute looking too. It will turn any regular hdtv into a smart tv. Great price and worth every penny.

We needed to watch an older tv in the basement. We did not want to call the cable guys out and all other smart tv converters need an HDMI connection. This one works great with older tvs.

This is the second Ruku Player of purchased, and i am completely happy with it. Tons of free apps that stream extreamly fast. I would recomend this item to anyone who enjoys Netflix or HBO Go.

I plugged the Roku box into the TV, setup the account using the computer, and we were streaming in minutes. I chose this Roku because it came with a remote control, Google and Apple do not.

Bought on the fly so I could hook it up before the game started. Easy hook up and haven't had a problem since. Nothing fancy but more than gets the job done for my wife, kids,and myself.
