Works great on older TV's. Comes with the RCA cable and works as good as the newer version of ROKU.

We bought the least expensive option, and the picture quality this sends to our HD TV is fine. We rarely play DVD's anymore, so we used this Roku to replace an inexpensive Blu-ray player.

Roku-1 does the deed connecting my old analog tube TV to the net. Bye Bye time warner and your endless fees, online content for me now!

The main reason for the purchase was to use Netflix to access a wider range of programming for a community viewing set up in a senior citizens complex. To that end, the product works as desired. The connection to wireless & setup was fairly seamless - still like many devices of this nature there were a couple hiccups where some technical knowledge (and patience) helps.

Roku is an easy to use way to stream your favorite shows. There are tons of channels to choose from and more added regularly. I love the ease of use and the variety I have to choose from.

I was debating between the roku and the google chrome cast. Went with the roku due to ease of use and remote, felt like it was easier to use since I am not the most tech savy person.

Very easy to get started with this device. All of my favorite apps work with the Roku. Still feels weird not to have an off button on it, but that's the way it was designed to work.

We bought the Roku to finally rid ourselves of cable. It has done that for us. We have downloaded a couple extra channels to access our hard drive and that makes a difference.

Best way to watch TV Ever! You get to choose what you would like to watch and when to watch. You are able to pause program, rewind, watch again - and all in HD! The price of this device is less than one month of cable TV and Netflix is about $8.49 a month with hundreds of movies and TV programs to choose from. I do not miss cable TV at all - or the monthly Bill!

I purchased this product for my mother who has an older television that lacks an HDMI input. It works great and is easy to use so she has access to streaming services.

I recently purchased a big screen television for my family room but the area doesn't have access for cable and it would be rather difficult to install so I decided to try the Roku 2. It was so easy to install, just plug-in, sign up and push play. Clear continuous streaming and there are lots of free channels to choose from. I'm enjoying this so much that I'm getting another for my bedroom too even though I have cable.

I started off with a newer Roku and it had software compatibility issues with my flat screen tv and wifi. I purchased this older version and all works perfectly.

When you only have composite inputs this one does the job. Worked right out of the box following directions, of course.

This actually exceeded my expectations. Great product. Connected easily to older TV. Doesn't have a few of the features of newer ROKU models but works very well.

Works good. My young kids love being able to pick their own shows whenever they want. I was worried this lower level model might be too slow, but it works fine.
