Bought this for the bed room .so the wife and I could watch her shows and i could watch movies works out great

We had the original Roku and loved it. So when we wanted to use some new aps ours was to old to upload new aps.

bought this but had issues with the remote and connectivity. Took back and purchased the Amazon Fire TV and am very pleased.

I did hesitate to try Roku streaming, but now I am so glad I did. Thoroughly enjoy these aps available. Thanks

If you have cable and want to add an additional TV without paying service provider for an additional box, this is awesome. We use this everyday in our kids room.

So when I bought this I heard a lot of great things about it. But I ended up being disappointed because it would just sort of freak out sometimes. My boyfriend had an Apple TV and I was going to get that but I heard so many good things about the Roku so I bought this instead. But like I said I was disappointed because it just wouldn't work right. The remote wouldn't always work and if I tried plugging it into another tv none of the apps would work and I'd have to do a factory reset.

Cheap and easy way to access a wide variety of content. Does require subscriptions to major apps in order to actually watch relevant recent shows, movies, etc.

Using the Apple remote was very difficult, kept passing my selection. Took Apple TV back. Roku is like a Blackberry phone, you feel the button selection better.

Unbox, plug in power, plug in TV, access WIFI, login, watch! It's that easy. Simple to navigate and intuitive.

Due to limited internet, I was looking for a way to watch my Netflix and Hulu without buffering all the time.
