Good product but using remote is little difficult. It should have a function to change the screen saver when the TV show finishes and remains idle to prevent possible damage from idle sceen.

This is an excellent streamiing device.. Fast and more reliable than Google chromecast.

Loooooove this!! It pays for itself pretty much!! Just with the the roku 2 we have been able to save $75 on our cable bill. Bye bye cable hello freedom. Love that we can stream all of our shows in hd. Just have to download the apps that fit your viewing needs and its super easy too!! You pay a small fee compared to any cable company and its freedom to pick and choose. We love this!!

Set up was quick, performance is fast, using cable wifi modem. no buffering or lag. Remote is a little limited.

I bought this for my mother. She is not technologically savvy and she can run this and loves it.

The Roku 2 is a nice addition to our TV viewing habits. We no longer have cable TV and were only using Netflix streamed through our BluRay player. The Roku has made it easier to stream Netflix. We are also enjoying the free channels offered through the Roku device itself.

So my wife and I have had a Chromecast for a year or two but were looking for something a bit more robust, so we gave this a shot and while we enjoyed it at times we did end up returning it. Without a lot of online subscriptions, Hulu Plus, Spotify Premium, Amazon Prime, Netflix, ect, it is not all that useful, though with our extensive media collection and a one time purchase of a Plex account it could be a little media powerhouse.

I have this for sometime now. I can't tell you how much I love it. We have this hooked up in the bedroom and I love being able to lay next to my wife while we watch a random movie from some independent channel. There are so many free stations that almost anyone can find something they'd enjoy watching. It's not just for Netflix (even though we use it for that a great deal too).

I used this roku to replace my smart tv function (since my Samsung tv crapped out). It is good and functions well with my 5g wireless router. I rarely have an issue with it. I wish the control would not have the hot buttons for sometime I press them and it exits the current application and goes to the app assigned to it

We bought this for my son to stream Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon in his room, and he absolutely loves it. The internet works fast on it, and the device itself is much faster than the old Roku boxes that are available. If you are a cord cutter, the Roku brand is one of the most diverse in terms of different apps available, and is probably the best value for your money.

I bought this for my mom, who's constantly complaining there's nothing on her (Direct)TV. She was nervous about setting it up, and I had to help with the beginning steps. Once she saw how it worked and got the hang of it, she said, "thanks!" And sent me on my way. Later that night she was texting me which roku channels she was watching!

Love my Roku, gives me access to all I want from TV without paying for what I don't watch. The Roku 2 is well worth the savings over the 3 unless you're just too lazy to push a button?

I love this product. I'm getting rid of cable TV and this gives me a way to watch so many shows I don't' think I will miss cable at all. It is a great price too!!

I purchased this as a gift for my parents...mainly because of the price, and the ease of use compared to other streaming video boxes. The software is easy to use and navigate. It is mainly used for Netflix and Amazon...but there is also a TON of free channels out there that you can get to watch so much free programming. Lots of old movies and TV shows...all free!

Bought this to replace a Nexus player due to no TWC App for Android TV. Roku player was easy to setup and have had no problems with it thus far. Only have ran into 1 app that i have an issue with and that's Spotify for Roku in general. It requires Spotify Premium to setup which i can setup on my FireTV without requiring a premium account.

I love my Roku streaming device, its fast and easy to use
