This is an upgrade to my current device. Now I have Roku on both the secondary TV and my main TV. Roku allows you to give up TV from your cable TV provider

I don't have much to say but this Roku 2 is great of course you have to have Internet to make it work, and you can watch all he Chanel from wherever you like

We live in a rural area and have had not much for internet or streaming movies. We have fiber optic so now with the roku for our outdated tv it is great!

I went in search of the best streaming media player and all indicators pointed to the Roku. It's easy to set up and start and easy to use. Great product!

This is a great product. I cancelled my ATT Uverse account to go to a streaming device and it's well worth it. I wouldn't pay another dime for cable it's a waist of money and I use my Roku more than I did my cable.

After I upgraded my TV - yes really - first time ever I have "upgraded" a TV. Easy to install. Will be canceling XFINITY! I am 69 years old and I am going wireless!!!

This roku with wired connection has better performance than the previous Model 2 with the advantage that it is also wifi. The remote control does not fail.

I bought the roku 2 after experiencing many technical problems with my roku3. Have had no issues with this model.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. THE PICTURE IN MY TV IS VERY CLEAR AND HAS MANY AVAILABLE OPTIONS FOR FREE. I AM USING IT MOSTLY FOR NETFLIX AND I AM IN LOVE WITH ROKU.

Title says it all. I wanted a fast streaming device and didn't need to have the voice controls. Roku 2>Roku 3

Like Roku overall, though at times, picture pixelates, especially on ESPN. However, After lowering resolution a bit, picture appears more stable, but not as crisp. No pixelating problem on other channels so far.

The Roku 2 is very easy to set-up and the user interface is very user friendly.

I have officially cut the cord and only veiw entertainment through the Roku. The speed and signal are great with this. I honestly have no complaints.

I bought it for the screen cast capability because I have movies and other entertainment apps on my phone, casts them perfectly. Works amazingly fast.

I bought the Roku 2 after deciding to cut my cable subscription. Easy to set up and use. Plenty of free channels to choose from to satisfy my needs.

I absolutely love the Roku 2 for our streaming services. We have Netflix, Hulu, Prime, Vudu, and Sling. The Roku works flawlessly delivering our shows without buffering or freezing even with our slow internet download speeds of 6 Mbps. Previously we used the Xbox One to stream but many of the apps were lacking, mainly Sling and Hulu. We would have constant buffering and stuttering, which is annoying especially while watching sports on SlingTV. So my brother who has the Roku 3 as well as Xbox One suggested we try the Roku 2 since it has the same processors as the Roku 3 but costs less. Well like I said we really liked it, but the one area it was lacking was the remote! I do like the buttons on the bottom to go directly to Hulu, and Netflix, etc but I hate how you have to point the remote directly at the Roku to get it to respond! So annoying! Well wouldn't you know it the Roku 3 remote connects over your WiFi signal and will work without have to point it at the box. So you can have your Roku 3 box tucked away somewhere, or you can just not be annoyed by having to point the remote straight at the box to make it work! You may be thinking this is not a deal breaker for you, but just wait until you experience it for yourself. I sounded like a broken record with my kids, move please, can you not put your toy there etc... Well good news the Roku 3 became available for less than the Roku 2 on the black Friday special. So I returned the Roku 2 and saved money by getting the Roku 3! I expect it to be a perfect 5 star rating since my only gripe about the Roku 2 was the remote. Also the Roku 3 has voice command capability, and a headphone jack! Bonus! Overall, I would most definitely recommend the Roku 2 (if the remote thing doesn't bother you) or the Roku 3 if you understand how that could be annoying.

Does a great job of streaming. Easy to use, great 8bit video, 1080p. I think my roku 3 is still better picture wise, but they supposedly have the same processing. This is my 3rd roku. All 3 work flawlessly.

Overall great product! My kids love that they can now watch their favorite shows in their bedrooms without having to put a cable box in their room!!

Was using my old x-box to stream WWE Network. Didn't work well so on a friends suggestion I get a RoKu. I love this it is fast and streams very clear.

If you're looking for a Roku that isn't going to have a slower connection speed (Roku stick), but you don't need all the extras that the Roku 3 offers, this one is your best bet. I recently cut cable and this is the best device for me to stream everything from Sling TV, Netflix, Hulu, and the many other channels I added to the Roku (those only available through the Roku).
