Streaming was hit and miss with my blueray. Have only been using Roku a short time but so far it's providing dependable streaming with a great picture.

I chose the Roku over products by Apple, Amazon and Google because it has the largest selection of apps and isn't part of the ecosystem battle between those big players. Much quicker than the previous version.

I'm new to the digital TV era...found Roku easy to use--just a few buttons on the remote make it simple.

I really have just set up the Roku. But it was easy enough, and appears to have so much to offer. I think it is going to be fun discovering all of it.

This is a great streaming device overall. I've owned a Roku 3 for two years and was pleased to find this one to be just as fast. Highly recommend!

I decided to fire my cable company because of their outrageous prices and utterly contemptible disregard for customer service. After much research I decided on the Roku to go with my Apple TV and TV Antenna. With these 3 devices I get almost all the programming I want at a savings of over $100.00 per month. The Roku works well and I am very happy that I made the change.

For the price, it's a good option vs cable/sat. Lots of channels to choose from. Just wish search features were better & had more good channels for free.

this a good device for streaming netflix, Hulu or anything like that. good device for the technologically non-inclined.

I purchased the 2015 Roku 2 to replace a Time Warner cable box. The TWC app is great, which includes a channel guide that is easy to browse with. There are so many apps such as Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu that I use daily as well.

I had been concerned that it would be very difficult to hook up and get started. I was so wrong! It was simple!! We are enjoying it very much.

This device sure beats using my laptop for streaming! Easy to set up, and I appreciate the PIN to avoid unplanned streaming of chargeable items.

The Roku 2 works just as advertised. If I had my way (my wife disagrees) I would rid myself of satellite service and just use Roku. Love it.

I couldn't believe the picture quality and the amount of channels this little box gives. Great value.

I was going to put in a dvd player, which would take up a lot of room. This device is only inches wide and will do everything except play dvd's.

I have been using the chromecast for over a year and moved to the Roku for Sling TV. This is a great upgrade and eliminates the need for your smartphone or tablet for streaming. I settled for the Roku 2 because I did not need the voice search or other complementary features of the Roku 3. So far, I am extremely happy with Sling TV. $20 a month for the channels I usually see on cable tv has been ideal. They have a great $50 off a compatible device at Best Buy if you prepay for 3 months. Cheaper cable + Roku 2 (for ~$20 after $50 off) = win

My husband purchased this for his parents to be able to watch streaming tv channels. It came with the app needed, it works very well for them. His brother liked it so much he went and got one too.

Bought this box since I am dumping cable. Super easy to setup and easy to use. Tons of free content.

This Roku 2 is one of the better streaming devices out there Is fast and it has a lot of channels to choose from Definitely a great option

This was purchased to access Time Warner Cable High Definition cable services without having to rent an HD DVR and it works very well for this use. It is connected to a Sharp 49" TV in a screen porch.
