I finally made the leap and got rid of cable. I really don't miss it, especially with the Roku. I bought one Roku for each TV. You can easily unplug it and switch it to another TV, but then you have to go through the setup process each time, which is annoying. So I'm glad I got more than one.

This Roku 2 is great. I have a smart TV and it was slow at bringing up Netflix, etc. With this I was about to open a show in seconds and not have to wait.

Purchasing a Roku has given me the freedom to completely eliminate being tied down to cable or satellite. My family can enjoy each and every show we all watch, stay updated on current events, catch up on shows we missed and we do it all for a FRACTION of the price of any Television Provider!

Covered all my viewing needs, Amazon, HBO, Hulu and Netflix all in one device and easy to access.

The roku player is a nifty little thing with lots of speed and options. Really glad we purchased it.

I purchased this item because I already own 2, the Roku streaming stick and the Roku 3. This one is the first generation but it comes with the standard cable connections as well as an HDMI option. My son's TV is a 19 inch flat screen that does not have an HDMI port and we own several movies on Amazon and wanted our living room and bedroom back!

Set up quickly. Loads streaming sites such as Netflix much faster than computer. Highly recommend.

Oh I love my Roku! Makes watching Netflix and Hulu plus so easy. Will be purchasing another one soon!

Bought this Roku 2 a month ago. I am very happy so far with it. I manly use it to watch cable tv with the Pulsar channels. Netflix works really good.

Purchased this item for SLINGTV. No lag, no issues at all. My favorite apps are youtube and twitch. They both work perfectly. The only downside is the lack of keyboard on the remote. It is hard to type (using the arrow keys to move and OK to select each character slow

I and my Children love this device, so many options. The only problem is deciding what to watch.

After seeing this unit at my sister-in-laws, we decided to give it a try. It works fine with our Verizon wireless wifi but it does eat up the GB's. That is our major concern with one movie taking up approx. 1.4 GB and more for the HD. That is one thing to consider prior to purchase. One of course can upgrade your service so one must way cost against other options for watching movies....still cheaper than going to movie house.
