This is my first Roku purchase I always had apple TV But Roku is so friendly with other OS.

Streaming with Roku is better than regular cable programs. There is a variety of program choices such as Hulu, TWC, Netflix, and Pandora that's available for viewing. Gone are the days of watching controlled television programs that are constantly being repeated.

I replaced a 10 year old Kenmore model with this LG model. We use a microwave primarily for defrosting and reheating food. After one week this product is working just fine. As many of the other reviewers have noted the numbers on the touch pad are hard to see but after a while you remember where the important buttons are (start and power level).

We recently "cut the cord" and the Roku fills in the blanks for entertainment choices. There are scads of free apps but on the downside many also require a monthly subscription or cable subscription to use. It was easy to install and is easy to use. No rocket science needed.

I read quite a few reviews before ultimately deciding to go with the Roku 2. The voice features of the Roku 3 seem pretty useless to me, and the extra features above the Roku 1 make the 2 a pretty solid middle ground. Once they finally add HBO NOW access to Roku, this will be the best choice if you don't care about mirroring a laptop or anything like that.

Love the Roku streaming player. I have 3--one for each tv. Helps even the smart tv too.

Easy to use and set-up/ Good selection of shows. Nice alternative to paying for cable on every television. Specialty channels are aplus.

Easy setup (a credit card is needed). Love the apps. Espn, Showtime, Netflix, hulu, etc...

Got rid of satellite box for this tv & only use Roku. Enjoy Netflix & other apps. Nice.

Bought this and it's great .No problems at all and using Plex app to stream my videos.

It's so great watching seasons of shows! I have the original and this one is way better!!

This is my first roku. They advertise this product to make u think all you need is internet connection to view these 2000 channels. Not true. So far I enjoy the picture quality. Don't like creating an account for every channel. Don't like that in order to view certain channels I want to watch on roku also have to be included in my cable package. That totally defeats the overall purpose. So right now I mainly use it to stream ESPN in HD.

I got it for him since he always had to fight with his teenage son over the PS3 to watch Netflix and Hulu. I opted for this instead of the Chromecast because it had a USB port for flash drives so he could also watch downloaded movies, but apparently it didn't work. As well it shouldn't so as to slow down piracy but still, that was my selling point and it didnt work out as planned. still a good product though.

This product has made three transition from cable to local TV worth the hassle. Like the fact that you have multiple apps to work with.

Works great with my 2009 Insignia TV. Painless setup. Works great with no buffering!
