It may be my connection...but will try another connection soon. I had planned to buy a cheap blu-ray player with netflix but sales person explained that these devices were designed to stream and the player could suffer blu-ray issues if the motor continually is running only to stream videos...that may seem like it would take a while to occur but the device fits in your palm and I traveled with it. Seems good to me.

Why did I not buy roku any earlier

Movies are loaded in less than 15 sec. and I have not yet had a problem or an interruption! Fire the cable company, it's so much less per month and get thousands of movies without any commercial break.
