Got this for the kids room and it works great. Easy to use and perfect for the kids.

I have used blu-ray players and x-box one for streaming, but the Roku is the best and least expensive! I would have given this 5 stars but my one pet-peeve, since the Roku is used in a bedroom, is that you cannot turn the Roku off and the on-light is very bright. I have to change my TV's imput and wait for it to turn off. It should have a sleep/timer and an off button and a less prodigious light!

It's easy to use, no tech knowledge needed.Just wish it had a keyboard for searches.

So glad we got the Roku. It streams fast and provides us access to TONS of TV shows and movies. So glad we were able to use it to cut our cable cord. Set up was easy ! Works great ! Nice search feature as well. Going to buy another one for our other TV.

Had to buy it elsewhere. I needed a Roku 2 with the composite cables since I can't quite afford to replace my tv. The Best Buy Roku 2 had HDMI only. But now that I've got one and it's all hooked up, I'm very happy with it. Don't do what I did - if you need composite, it will say it includes the composite cable on the box.

I was hesitant about purchasing a roku and unsure about which model to select. Roku 2 has turned out to be a perfect fit. The website makes browsing and adding apps very easy. I have also been amazing by the numbers of channels available.

I really like the speed and quality and the new software on this unit. I do hate how you have to point the remote at the box - the 3 has where you can click anywhere and I miss that. But overall a great unit that will see many hours of Netflix and Hulu.

Super easy to use, great for people who aren't tech savvy. The channels are very diverse and has all the main premium channels that are a necessity. Also it's cheaper than regular cable.

I chose this model to received the fastest speed due to it having a LAN connection.

I am a huge apple fan boy so it would take a lot for me to admit apple is sub par. Well this it. I switched over from apple tv to this. It has saved me $60/mnth on my cable bill by removing my cable box. And I can network my entire itunes library throughout the whole house to any tv with a roku box.

This is my second Roku 2 - I previously had the Roku stick but read that the processor is better in the Roku 2 so I bought one and liked it so much I bought a second as we are cord-cutting. Great streaming experience (minimal buffering) and switching between apps is quicker than with the Roku Stick.

This will help reduce your cable bill every month. Thousands of movies and different apps to watch anything from old sitcoms to newer shows. Cut your premium cable to basic saves tons of money.

I do not have cable and thus purchased this product to watch Netflix and various other channels on my TV. I ended up going back and purchasing a second Roku for my bedroom. Excellent product.

Awesome device. Streams like a champ. I have it plugged into my projector in the basement and it does a better job than my smart tv upstairs. Only problem is it has an ir remote. From where I sit in my home theater I have to lean really far forward for it to work. Range could be better. The roku 3 has a different type of remote. If I had done my research I would have bought the 3. Oh well.

My brother and nephew has streaming devices and they tried for years to get me over to the other side because I thought my DirecTV was the best thing since slice pie w/ice cream ( had it since 2000 ).. My Roku player was extremely easy to set up and get started and the number of streaming options are enormous. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommended the product to others.

This is a great alternative to cable TV. The Roku provides many options for a wide range of TV apps. It was helpful to have two great Best Buy reps help explain to us what smart tv is too.
