I am new to these devices and this one made it easy.

Purchased this for a friend who recently moved and didn't have the funds to buy cable (Verizon FiOS, Xfinity, etc . . . ). In addition, their new residence couldn't pickup any HD signals via amplified antenna, so this made for an excellent gift.

Way better then the original roku boxes. Thumbs up!

Bought this product as a gift for my mother who loves it. It is user friendly and works smoothly when transitioning between the different apps.

Easy to set up and to use, which is amazing for me

I own the previous generation Roku 3, and this new roku 2 is just as fast. I used this media player to stream channels, but the real reason I bought it was to hook up a harddrive and save all my son's movies. I have all his favorites, and they look great in HD.

If you have cable/satellite service this device is amazing because you can stream local as well as cable channels by downloading the free app and typing in your cable or satellite providers information and you have free access to channels.

I purchase this item and it been good to me ever since. It works as described. Plus it save me a lot money from subscribing to a cable. best buy is the place to purchase this item.the tech are there to assist u with any question you may have.

I love the Roku 2 format and huge variety of selection of channels! The HD quality is great! Love the way I can keep streaming a continuous series without having to keep pressing play. My 3 star rating is because every night when I come home from work, I have to unplug the signal cord and reset it in order to get it to unfreeze and be able to watch anyyhing. The user selection pictures show up, but nothing happens until I reset it, then it works perfect. This is probably a defective unit, but I haven't had time to return it. Also, I hate having to spend all the necessary time to register it snd reprogram my selection of channels again. Not sure which is more painful...Return or reset.

I heard about this thru my dad. Before this I used my lap top and a USB cable. This makes watching amazon prime and sling easy. Awesome item.

Great alternative to tv, just get Hulu or Netflix and you won't miss any of your favorite shows. Many "free" channels are only free if you have a cable or satellite subscription, definitely a down side.

This product works great to stream online content.

I purchased this Roku because my Apple TV doesn't provide Amazon Prime Video app and neither does my TV. I was unable to take advantage of Amazon Prime Video on my TV and this was the best option. It was easy to set up and easy to use.

I had an old Roku XD. The Roku company kept sending me emails that I should update to a newer model. I thought it would be a waste of money but when Best Buy put them on sale, I figured I should see what they were talking about. The new unit is far superior to the old one and has so many channels available. You can even do a voice search using an iphone app. The only thing is there may be too many choices and not enough time.

This is being is used on a bedroom TV. It is really inconspicuous. Being used to access Netflix, Amazon, etc. .There are hundreds of channels you can utilize if you want. So far I have only installed about 40. I have tried all kinds of streaming players and have found Roku to be the best and the most versatile.

This item was in the ad. You would get the DVD/Blu-Ray/Digital and a Jurassic World t-shirt for $19.99. Good deal. However, they were out of the t-shirt. After several emails to customer service I was compensated with a $10 Gift Card.

My wife and I recently bought this to hit the requirement for 6 month no interest financing on out Best Buy credit card. We couldn't have made a better decision. We use this every day, and are almost caught up on Game of Thrones. I think everyone needs a Roku in their life. Not to mention you can sync all your vudu uv movies on one machine. On top of that you can share your uv movies with a friend, so in addition to all our digital movies we have access to a friends digital library. This box is a must have for everyone.

We decided to "cut the cord" and get rid of Direct TV and went to an antenna and a Roku. Overall, it works fine. Every once in a while, it seems to lose connection, but I can get it back within a few seconds. It could be my internet.

I added another Roku to the collection. It was easy to configure and does what it is supposed to do. I'd buy another one as needed.
