Roku has been around a long time, and does not rest on their laurels. This product is the next generation, and a big leap forward. It delivers for the money! (Also I got it on sale with a Roku company promotion).

Works Great. Excellent for cable cord cutters. Simple to set up and run. Streams PBS, MLB, HULU, and more with ease.

I done some research for streaming devices before going to Best Buy to make a purchase. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the product which in turn help me make a decision on what was best for me .

I bought this for my father for Father's Day after buying a Roku 4 and liking it. I set it up to replace all of the wires previously necessary to use the TV in his bedroom (It had a bad cable connection and a digital converter, which were now no longer needed). We use the TWC app instead of the cable box now. The only difference between this and Roku 3 is that this unit does not have the voice control, which we didn't need. It is just as fast and wireless as the Roku 3.

Easy to set up, easy to get to many of the Internet TV sites. Not a fan of the remote, but the unit does the job.

We purchased this devise for watching videos from JW.org and love being able to watch the monthly broadcasts and many other videos. Our young daughter can watch the many kids videos on shuffle for hours.

This is the cloud streaming player to get if you're looking for compatibility with many different platforms. Hulu, Amazon, mirror your device, you name it - this can do it!

Gift for nephew along with new TV. Since cable signal was poor/iffy in that area of the house, the ROKU gave him access to all sorts of programs right in his bedroom. Great alternative!

Very easy to set up. Picture quality is excellent and channel selection is a good alternative to cable channels.

Got this so I could use the live tv streaming service, sling. It has been better than I thought. Def a little better than apple tv for me since I don't use itunes that much and roku has spotify on it.

The roku box replaces a older Samsung Blueray player i had to access netflix, and Hulu, and other internet TV services. The menu and interface is a big improvement over the older software the blueray player had. With Netflix, i can access all of it's content, with the Samsung, I had to go online and add shows to my queue before they would be available to watch. The Roku provides a great quality picture, and allows me to access Netlix, Amazon Prime, Hulu with ease.

Love my Roku 2. I had difficulty in getting it correctly connected. It took two different calls to Roku's customer service. During both calls, the techs were very patient and friendly. I had excellent advice at Best Buy when researching and eventually choosing the Roku 2.

we eliminated cable TV and are using ROKU. I get the channels that are important to me and have access to movies.

Roku has been working great. Updates each week. Easy to use and install.

Purchased this unit to replace my older model Roku 2 and was very pleased with the increased speed of access in scrolling and selection of the Home Screen Icons. Am particularly pleased with quicker load/retrieve times. (This unit is being used with a DSL router that achieves 2.9 MBS internet speeds.) I prefer the previous RF activated remote controller as compared to the current IR activated remote, which requires line-of-sight access to the Roku-2 unit.

Can't give you a review as I purchased them for my kids for Christmas. I have a Roku streaming stick and I love it. I'll let you know more after they open their Christmas presents. Merry Christmas!

We were streaming through a smart DVD player and it was slow to load and would frequently fail to connect with the Internet. With Roku we are able to connect consistently and quickly. Awesome device.

I wanted something besides the cox cable package which is now $139.00 per month and there is really nothing to watch. Cable is a waste of time and money. With the new Roku 2 that I bought 8-23-16 you can get more channels that actually are worth watching and with my antenna I also now get all the local stations to watch the local news channels. We already get Netflix which we pay monthly and now I can also get Netflix on the other televisions in the house. Cox Cable now wants you to rent a mini box per-month for each television in the house; they use to have only one main box and with cable already wire to all the rooms you only had to use one box, so the price just keeps getting higher and higher. The Roku 2 solves that problem and I even get more stations than the Cox Cable has and they are stations that are worth watching.
