I use Roku to watch Netflix, YouTube, Vimeo and Otero vídeo channels and is is better than commercial Tv. This product does the work very well, It is easy to use and displays a nice HD image.

This is a great way to stream netflix and amazon videos. Connections werre always solid with no lag whatsoever. I just recently upgraded to the roku 4 for the 4k capabilities and wireless ac and the roku 2 is in my son's room now. Although our son's room is further away from the router, the connection is still solid. I couldn't be happier.

The quality is very good. There are many different applications for using. Its great to watch movies on. I would recommend for everybody

Purchased unit to stream live TV via wifi. Works well with my home internet/wifi provider (Time Warner). However doesn't work as well if using a provider other than my provider - ie Charter.

This is my second Roku. I have the Roku 3 for my main viewing in my family room surround sound setup. Wanted the wifi remote there because my equipment is in a media closet. The Roku 2 works perfectly in my bedroom. The Roku 3 is wired in my setup and I use the Roku 2 wireless in my bedroom. The R2 is just as fast as the R3, both work great.

Cut your cable and get Roku. For local channels I use a digital antenna , with Roku I can get Sling TV and that's all I need TV wise.

Had an Smart Dvd in my craft room but could never get a good enough signal for streaming. The Ruko had no problem it's been great.

Buy this. Super easy to install. Great selection of free channels. Add Netflix and Amazon prime and you have really cut the vord.

I understand there are later iterations -- (Roku 3,4, etc) , but on reading the reviews I surmised that Roku-2 was more than enough for my needs -- and it was ... after a very quick and easy set-up (enter Wi-Fi password, etc) , I was ready to roll. Still have some learning curve issues (as with any device). You do need a good signal. To install in my man-cave (about 80 feet from the router), I needed a Wi-Fi booster (another 50 bucks).

I love Roku this is my second one the first one lasted many years. The only reason I upgraded was to be able to stream playstation vu or sling tv (havent decided which one I want yet but many many roku channel options are available as well. I bought 3 and set up for my parents in AZ no complaints from them, they are easy to navigate

I didn't need all the bells and whistles so the ROKU 2 was the best value. Remote is a little simple, but that comes with the lower price.

Great alternative to cable/dish. Priced right and you get plenty of options to watch. We got one a couple of years ago, and use it all the time. We bought this one as a gift for my son.

I decided not to go with the latest Roku and I am really glad with that decision. Rook 2 has everything I need at a great price.
