I bought this for my living room. I have the older Roku 2 in my bedroom. I love that it supports Netflix profiles.

I thought about getting apple tv, but decided on the Roku. This Roku is very dependable, and easy to navigate.

Roku is so much better than my Chromecast which relies on a wi-fi signal. Roku connects directly to my internet for flawless video streaming and improved sound, although some of the graphics for sites such as Pandora and Spotify are better with Cromecast. Right now - I use both, depending on the site.

I am in love my Roku and I do not miss cable. I can still watch all my favorite shows and catch up on some movies.

Saves me money from rent cable box each month on a TV I do not use often.

I am very happy with this purchase. A good deal for the cost. Many channels require an additional fee, but you also get a great amount of free channels and shows.

No need for expensive, too many channels we're not watching, cable. Finally I pay only for what I truly watch!

As a person that spends a lot of time in hotels this is the best product I've ever used to be able to watch TV

I own two and I bought this one for my tech-phobic parents. 5 minutes they are up and running watching Netflix.

Super easy to set up, just as easy to use and watch channels. Wish it had more channels but they add them often.

Bought this to play content on my daughter's tv where we do not have cable. Easily connected to my wireless network and provides hours of content for her to enjoy.

We purchased this because we pulled the plug on our dish service. Overall the unit works well, but if you aren't tech savvy it could be rough to get started with

many tvs do not handle video files stored on a hard drive (at least that has been my experience) this device allows me to watch my movies from my external hard drive. So it does what I want it to. Do be honest I do not know much more about it except I have watched Netflix but now I have a smart TV.

Easy to install, movies, shows, documentaries that are more than enough for any person. No need for cable for me.

Roku does exactly what it is suppose to do, make streaming videos easy and convenient on a one device setup. My only complaint was that most services require a referral or login to use. So, that makes it a little less convenient, but the video quality is excellent and the function is very intuitive.

Still need to sign up for Netflix, Amazon, etc., in order to use Roku. It's a good idea but was looking for a streaming device to replace all those subscriptions.

very fast processor, user friendly UI, anyone should be able to work the apps and be ready to watch in minutes.

Roku converted my regular TV into a smart TV. I decided to cancel my cable service an just watch the local channels (free). Roku replaces all those cable channels.

For a relatively low initial price it makes it easier to cut the cord with the cable and satellite companies.
