This is my second ROKU. And I have no complaints, I absolutely love them. It is easy to set up, easy to use and provides hours of good entertainment.

Wanted something faster than my Roku stick but didn't need the Roku 3s upgraded remote. When I heard the Roku 2 had its CPU upgraded to match the speed of the Roku 3, I thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did. This is way faster than my Apple TV makes Sling TV feel less pokey, and launches Netflix faster than even my PS3. And for about 20 bucks less than the Roku 3!

The Roku 2 is easy to set up and works great! Lot's of free channels. I use it for Netflix, Amazon Prime, MLB, NHL and NBA. Very good HD quality.

I'm new to streaming to the TV and this has been very easy for me to learn. I downgraded my TV options and am enjoying watching shows without commercials. Great picture too. Roku 2 is the way to go.

This works great. I have cable internet and it is fast and haven't had any problems. There are many channels that I use and I just love it.

We decided to cut cable in an effort to save about $150 a month. Deciding which streaming player to go with was very overwhelming. After much research, we decided on the Roku. We are very happy we did! The Roku is very user friendly and super easy to use. There are so many channel options, and also makes using Hulu, Sling, and Netflicks very easy.

The setup of the Roku Box went smoothly and everything works great. For the cost the services available thru the box can't be beat.

With little experience in streaming media, besides YouTube, this device was simple to set up, simple to install, and simple to use. I recommend this device to anyone who wants to ditch a cable/satellite provider and start saving money and hassle. 1000's of free channels and movies and interesting topics to discover. You can choose paid subscriptions like Netflix and Hulu, or just stick with the multitude of free channels. My wife really enjoys it as an alternative to high dollar providers.

I owned a Roku 3 for a while and decided to put another Roku box on another TV. Strictly for viewing, there is virtually no difference. The 3 is a bit faster and has the better remote with the earphone jack, but the picture and sound clarity is identical. If you don't need the earphone jack, the Roku 2 will do the job well.

This Roku box is awesome! Quick speed with lots of channel options but easy enough to control that my 4 year old can do it!

This roky as my kids called it, is useful shorcuts on the remote are great makes easier for them to use it, other important thing is faster than the previous so im happy with it

This ROKU 2 is a great addition to TV entertainment, simple to set up and easy to use, programs of all categories on demand, more than enough, many free channels, plus Netflix, Hulu, etc. I especially wanted the ACORN subscription channel, a full load of best of British TV to pick from, it's like having Masterpiece Theater around the clock, and very reasonably priced, a bargain.

I am extremely satisfied with the performance of the roku 2. It is very fast when moving from channel to channel. It has available all the channels i am interested in and then some. The remote that comes with it has buttons for 4 of the more popular channels so you don't have to hunt through all your channels for them.

Easy setup, compact. The only bothersome thing, for myself, and apparently for others is that there is no OFF button on the remote. How hard can it be to include one?

This was a great purchase for me, super easy to use, and it has a great speed to it. Doesn't really lag at all.

This version of the Roku is very versatile and well worth the purchase price. I am using it with Plex (application, with paid subscription) to access my video library in my home. Eventually this will allow me to cease to pay for Netflix and Hulu and possibly even cancel my cable. Again, great purchase, it would have gotten 5 stars if the line of sight for remote to contol the box weren't so darn picky.

Works as expected but I wish it had a more modern UI. I had to explain to the BestBuy reps what the difference between the old SKU and new SKU was. Roku should have given it another name, even something like Roku 2.1 to help prevent confusion. When I did in store pickup, despite ordering the new SKU, they pulled the old SKU. Had I not double checked it myself, BestBuy would have sold me the older version instead. Time will tell but I'm wondering if I would have been better off going with something Android based instead. It will depend if they can keep up with all the newer, similar type devices coming out.
