Roku has really cheapened the device and ruined a good streak of devices by making only the roku 3 have the remote that doesn't require direct line of sight. At this price point and it being a 4th generation device, I'd expect that all of the remotes were paired better to their respective device. The device also has a weird chug to it when scrolling through items, even with 50 down cable internet. At least it's still got a USB port for attaching external devices with movies and pictures on.

A very simple device to connect and install. It provides all the content needed. A great product. Never had a roku before, this one is perfect for our needs.

switching from direct tv to a roku device is worth it. period!

I want to start out by saying I had high hopes for this being that I do not have cable or satellite. I was great in usage but what was a real let down was the lack of support for TV channel apps that you can get on tablets and smartphones. This ultimately made it a just ok purchase.

I love my roku 2. It has many streaming options, a good amount of free steaming apps too. I have already talked 3 people to pick one up and they all love it.

Its good to have youtube n netflix stream so fast n clarity

We still have cable so my father can dvr his shows, but the Roku made it easier to convince him to cut the package down to basic. I love having the ability to watch Netflix and Hulu on the TV instead of my computer. And the variety of free channels offered made the Roku a good purchase. Instead of watching reruns over and over, we have movies and all kinds of shows available. Easy to set up, easy to personalize, cheaper than cable and more entertaining!

The roku 2 is a really great product for begginners and do not need yo receive into the TV the UHD signal. Works great as long as your internet is fast.

All the reviews I read were correct, the Roku is a great device allowing me to connect to HBOGO, Amazon Prime and dozens of other channels. Great purchase.

I love the Roku 2. I bought it to be able to keep up with my tv programs when my hopper doesn't record. It works great and I also like to find new programs I may have missed through the years. I would recommend it!

we got rid of cable and bought a router, modem and the roku. switched to high speed internet and subscribed to Netflix. roku works great. easy to use.

This 2nd gen roku 3 works fast. Has great channel content. Including aome not so bad free stuff. Works great.

I would give this 4.5 stars if possible. The 2016 Roku Stick is actually slightly better at a lesser cost. Roku is a great performer no matter what. Use to own a Amazon Fire, but it failed after a few months.

I have two of these at home and bought one for my mom. She loves it. It is easy to use. It is easy to setup and they offer alot of different channels.
