This is the second Roku we have purchased. We wanted to save money on our cable bill by eliminating cable boxes. It works great and I still have access to all the cable channels as if I had a cable box. It will pay for itself in less than 6 months.

This device is everything I expected,easy to use and at a great price.streams very well.

This is a great device. It was the only one I could find with Lifetime Movie Club :)

very easy to use and set up. was not sure of which programs I wanted to pay for since they really don't give you a full line up of the programs in each product so ended up with just Hulu since familiar with it. In future will look at other venues. If you like movies then Netflix would be great to buy.

I've looked for a way to get rid of cable for a long time because I got tired of paying for a bunch of useless channels me nor anybody else in my household never watched. The Roku made it possible for me to get rid of cable and have more freedom to pick better channels to watch for a cheaper price.

I bought this and had to return it after it stopped working after a few weeks. It was frozen even after being reset.

Friend at work suggested the Roku. Found the device easy to setup and use.

A lot better than what I expected. I can even log into my charter spectrum account and watch live tv without those monthly cables boxes fees. This is great product and highly recommend. There is no lagging. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because there is no shut off it goes to sleep mode.

Picture quality could be better and sometimes Sling TV shows a blue error screen but overall it's a decent product

Works great with our 24" TV in kitchen (it's not connected to cable box or antenna)& 32" in family room (that is connected to cable box). I couldn't get it to work with our 60" smart TV in living room. It's connected to cable box & audiovideo receiver. I tried everything If you're going to buy this model you will need an HDMI cable. Sales person didn't tell me that!

Before buying the roku device I went to a lot of search, comparing it among other brands reading reviews and asking my friends , definitely I did buy the right streaming product . Certainly has the apps that make your viewing experience really fun at a reasonable price. So far it has been a great buy to kick the cable or satellite tv good bye. I will recommend for sure.

Perfect for consolidating access to various stream services. Very fast.

We do not have a smart TV and wanted to stream netflix. We had trouble with our smart DVD. We indicated both of these to the sales person and he recommended Roku. I can't thank him enough. It is perfect for what we wanted and have found other streaming networks that we love.

The roku 2 is alot faster than the 1 or stick but it's no premiere

I had an original Roku and then the upgrade that added HDMI cable (instead of RCA) and it worked well enough, but there were lag issues and so forth. The Roku 2 has a fast processor, a better remote and just works a little more reliably than the Roku 1. Works great...love it.

Like the responsiveness Wish the remote controlled the volume also
