Works well

I was not aware of the possibility of using a WIFI system to stream to my TV. I followed the instructions, installed the ROKU and am now enjoying the benefits of cable without installing a wire into a room that does have a hard wire.

Better than Apple TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.You can add "apps" to the Roku in the Roku store for free where the Apple TV comes stock with certain apps (HBOGo, Amazon Prime, Etc). I don't believe Apple TV has prime but the Roku does. Super easy set up, but the Roku DOESNT come with an HDMI cord, make sure you buy one.

Second one i have purchased

Works well, wifi range is good, hd looks crips. Runs kind of hot sometimes, which is annoying, but still works. I would give 4.5 if i could. It lost .5 because once in a while it does fail or freeze.

The last time that I check, Roku seemed to be doing its job just fine - no problems with reception at all. Th product appears to be the 'best of class"

We really can't afford to pay for extra cable. So we read good reviews on Roku, took a chance & purchased the system. We love it! Found everything we need in Roku. Bye bye cable!

There are ways to play iso files but it a little complicated. Also...you can change all you iso files to mp4, mkv, etc... but that is time comsumming. Other than that...it works as avertised. I would recommend to friends...but with the warning above.
