Bought this for my mother because an Apple TV would just be too much for her. And she's only called to ask a question once in a month, and uses it every day! This is a lot for someone as allergic to electronics as her! Definitely a great purchase!

I absolutely love my Roku's. the Roku 2 is the best. Unless you need to use the headphone option, don't bother with the Roku 3. I purchased a 3 and never used the headphones, that is the ONLY difference. Better than stick or Roku 1 though.

In general it's ok. The options of channels is ok.

I purchased this after purchasing an Insignia Roku TV. Set this up and it works just as well as the Built in Version in the Insignia TV. The added portability and familiarity really drives home that this was a great choice. I would recommend this!

Good product, with various types of movies and shows

I bought this for property in Florida because I only have cable and don't get a lot of movie channels. I would highly recommend the stick versus the player so you can take it back and forth if you're buying it for property somewhere else.

it takes a while to learn everythign about it. free channels are not that insteresting.

I was sick of paying for high priced cable service in two different homes. With the Roku, I'm able to stream many channels in one house (VT) by signing up with my remaining provider in the other home (FL). This is a great way to save $$$.

This is my 2nd Roku streaming box and I am very pleased with the product. I specifically use it as a 2nd cable box for Time Warner as they have an app that allows me to get all of my cable channels and not have to rent one of their boxes.

bought it as a hedge for the future. Don't watch enough tv to even plug it in yet

This device does what it supposed to do. Bring content to your tv with plenty of apps. Although it would be nice if you can transfer content from a mobile device. Like Apple TV or chromecast together in one box that would be awesome

We decided to drop our phone and cable and work with Amazon Prime and Netflix. Great move. It has been 1 month and we don't miss it at all. The Roku is a fantastic device for keeping all your online content available in one place.

I love my roku. friend told me about it and it is awesome. I use it everyday. so much to watch. Great for me because I don't get home until after everything has gone off. I like that I can catch up on my shows when i want to.

Of all of the streaming boxes out there this is a great deal. You have the ability to not only stream from 100's of channels but also plug in a usb and watch your own videos

The Roku 2 is priced competitively, which is what influenced me to purchase.
