The roku is a great media & streaming player that is very stable and was easy to setup.

Good, but adding apps not p/o of sys. challenging.

I bought this back last month after cutting my Dish Network service to save a fortune on TV and by far, I love it! Easy to use and much more intuitive than my old Apple TV. Highly Recommended!

It shows a ton of things you can stream or do but then you can't find most of it. You also need to make additional purchases to which we did not know. Just make sure of all before you buy. Still not such a bad purchase since it does a tone more than the Google Chromecast and we got rid of TV since it's all crud on there anyway!

I bought this to replace my WD TV live media device which I loved. (I didn't go back to the WD because they keep failing to work after a year.) The remote is spartan and takes a bit to get used to. There is no on/off switch. I ripped my movies to .ts and .iso but this device won't play those so I have to convert them to .mkv.

Easy to set up and use. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get off cable.

I have pretty decent internet and I have never had a buffering issue with my Roku. When using some of the same apps on my smart tv itself I did tend to have some buffering issues, so this has been an improvement. The menus are easy to navigate and the channel selection is huge. Great device. I would have given 4.5 stars if possible because the battery cover on the remote already has scotch tape holding it on. One trip over the end of the couch and the cover popped off......breaking the little tab off of the cover that holds it in place. That was disappointing on day 1! I have other remotes that have made the same journey more times than I can remember....never sustaining damage.

Buying this Roku has saved me about 1,000 min cable bills. I was paying $200+ for cable, now I just pay for internet. I binge watch shows, so this is perfect for me! I never could keep up with current series & always end up watching them on demand after the season is over anyway, so this is perfect. I don't mind that I have to wait for a series to come out on Netflix or Amazon prime or hulu....one of these membership is definitely necessary if you want to watch any regular/cable programming shows. Roku offers several free channels and several paid per month channels that I do not subscribe to, so I cannot offer any review on those paid movie/tv channels

Only missing in the slim tv is the local channels, 20$ dollars, mostly fee is Great

For the price, it is amazing. Great purchase. I would buy this again for a friend.

Only negative is you still need paid subscriptions to get most of the good channels.

It work's great but some time is very ls laggy. and Netflix does not want to start up. I found out if you exit Netflix i will come back on the next time. in stead of letting the program stay on.

Its a great product which allows you to have different options as far as what and how you want to watch. No Cable nor Dish services is needed when you have such control with this Roku-3 box.

I did a lot of research before making this purchase and it does everything that I need it to. We are considering dropping cable all together.

I don't pay for cable because I use Roku. It has all the apps I use to watch my shows. Very easy setup so I even carry it with me when I travel. Sometimes there are issues with different apps and navigation is a little slow.

We decided to make some changes to our TV services and bought this item. My husband is loving all the new and old programs and movies. It was a great move for us. Cut our TV billing in half.

This is a great device. In the past I owned WDTV's and Chromecasts. Roku is currently the best when it comes to streaming. Add Plex and it's the best device for personal media as well.
