I brought this for my Father and he is so happy with all the apps it has and the quality

The Roku box enables me to access streaming video easily and seamlessly. The channels offered are more than enough. I use mostly The Blaze network and Netflix, but also utilize the MLB and Pandora channels. Set up was a no brainer. I also like the ear buds on the remote so I can watch programs without disturbing anyone else.

Roku has everything it can offer. More apps and channels. Its faster than I expected.

This was my first Roku. It was easy to set up and converted an old smart TV with limited apps to one I can continue to use for years to come with Netflix, Hulu, HBO-GO and Amazon plus a host of others I have yet had the time to explore. Made cutting the cord with cable or satellite a breeze. The ROKU 3 has a few more bells and whistles than the 2. The Roku 4 would have been overkill for my purposes.

I purchased the Roku 3 to avoid paying Time Warner to rent a cable box. This device is really nice. I also have a couple chromecasts. The Roku is nice because I don't have to have my phone handy to use. There are a LOT of apps available too. I'll never buy another TV based on its "smart" functions. Roku is the way to go. Only issue (not really an issue) is that I wish I had gotten the Roku 4 with wireless AC as I'm using pretty far from the router. Still does a good job, just can never move the router.

Purchased as a gift for my son. I read reviews and checked prices. BestBuy had product in stock at the best price, so it was a no-brainer. Hook-up was easy, and it works just as described. If buying this product, I suggest also buying the cord that attaches it to the TV. (That will save running out to get it later!)

We bought a a Roku 3 for the tv downstairs. It's no different than Roku 2. I do not like the new remote with a separate 'OK' button. Sometimes it goes offline or it doesn't connect after restart-kinda of annoying fact. I have to unplug power-cord so it can boot again. Otherwise, it works without bells or whistles. Stay with Roku 3 or Roku 2, I have read that there are issues with Roku 4 (issues with the fan).

A great little streamer. All my favorite apps in one easy location. No major lag times or hiccups. Its easy to use and simple to navigate thru store for new apps. An easy pick with plenty to offer.

I use Roku primarily for Netflix, Tablo & Flixster and all 3 have a very simple interface. I also have Apple TV. It would be a very difficult to conclude which is better. Roku is a great value. The headphone jack in the remote is genious. I envision the coming demise of cable company bundles and look forward to the coming prospect of viewing video content entirely a la carte. NFL are you listening???

This is the best of all the devices out there. Unless you are tied to Apple or Google libraries, this is the one to get. From voice recognition, to all of the best apps, this really meets all of the needs. It is also much faster than the stick. Highly recommend!

This was easy to install and very easy to use. Perfect for lowering my cable bills.

This is pretty snappy compared to the Roku SE. I use it for my Time Warner Cable service, Netflix, and the main channels. Very lightweight. The remote is a good size, not too small where you can lose. I was able to turn in my DVR receiver back to TWC and get charged less monthly with this great addition. This is my first roku and loving it so far. Great price on black friday last year.

The Roku 3 is great for streaming all your favorite shows and movies. The built in headphone jack on the remote is awesome.

This is a very good device. With literally hundreds of channels to choose from, I don't know how I ever got convinced that paying for cable was a good thing. While you may have to get used to shows that are mainstream popular on cable, get virtually the same shows for free is not a big deal, plus you get netflix, amazon prime, etc too, and it is well worth the investment of paying for cable.

I bought the Amazon Fire TV Stick and the Roku Stick both for $40 (Roku $10 off sale). The Roku works much better! They both stream about how the same content but Roku was faster and didn't freeze up as much as Roku. Also I didn't like the way the menus are organized with Amazon. Basically, they just broke the Amazon Prime App in many parts on the main menu (good way to encourage consumer to use their stuff). Also there was no good way to organize you Apps on Amazon Fire TV. It only had recents by which apps are organized. The Roku allows you right from the home menu to organize your apps. I like this so I can group similar programming together. Also for those that like music videos streaming the Vevo app on Amazon is not as good. The Latin music genre was missing and the search doesn't work. While on Roku the Vevo app works perfect. There is a Latin music genre and search works great. Therefore I returned my Amazon Fire TV stick. The lower end Roku stick worked so great that I bought the higher end Roku 3 player ($99). I didn't notice hardly any difference in processor/streaming speed. I bought the more expensive one due to the air bud jack that connects to the remote because I have this in the kitchen so the sound doesn't clash with my Liv Rm TV sound. Really cool was that when I activated my 2nd Roku it kept all my settings and Apps, so very little set up time on the 2nd Roku device.

The roku 3 is the perfect non smart TV campanion. With literally hundreds of channels to choose from, you'll never experince tv the same again. The roku 3 features a simple plug and play feature that makes setting up hassle free. The audio jack on the remote makes it great for private listening without the hassle of long cables going to the tv. Overall, would reccomend this to everyone.

The Roku 3 is spot on with its voice activated search function. It is unbiased in its search functions, displaying movies and shows in increasing costs and rental fees across all it apps, from HBO Now to Amazon Prime. It has yet to require a reset due to a time out, and brings up app menus and the shows themselves quickly, though I will note that I have it connected via ethernet cable

This Roku model is very easy to set up and use. The picture quality is good and the headphones are a very useful feature.
