Its very easy to use. When I can't find anything to watch, I watch this.

I love my Roku 3, it is Fast and has so many channels to stream. I can even get my Disney movies anywhere App on here for my kids. Its a small box so it doesn't take up too much room and it is easy to set up. I prefer this to my DVD player for sure! Would buy another one in a Heart beat.

The best thing we ever did was cut the cable cord and go with Roku Streaming devices. We have already paid back the initial investment in just 5 months with the savings of not having a cable bill with RCN, which was almost $300.

Replaced my Roku 2 with this. Much faster but freezes up more often.

Clever features of headphones to remote. Voice commands work ok. Cheap build - Batty cover broke first week.

I am buying the Roku players to get rid of my cable. I am so excited. The Roku offers everything that I need and more. Once I get the Roku for 2 more TV's I will get rid of my cable. This is the best thing ever. You only pay for what you need, buy an antenna to get the local stations.

Inexpensive! Glad I purchased it - updates my older tv as I wait to purchase newer TV later this year. I can easily remote from my Ipad air to change programs when I want. I don't watch the usual cable programs, so this is easy to toggle between YouTube, Hulu, and Amazon as I please.

Out of all the streaming devices I have had(Fire stick, Chromcast), this is the best. The private channels allows us to watch local TV and record programs (for free). My family subscribes to Direct TV and the Roku provides the most channels (the just let me use their log in).

The Roku is a great way to connect your TV to all that's available online (assuming you are using a wired or wireless LAN). There's a fair number of "free" channels, but I've noticed that some of them have annoying commercials that appear every 15 minutes or so. Combined this with an HD antenna and you may be able to live without paying huge cable fees.

I bought this all these years ago and still sue the same one! So that shows how worth the money it was. of course it isn't sold anymore, but would make one figure the newer ones are also worth getting.

I am a single mom and Ruko 3 is installed without calling support or doing a you tube video. So many FREE options for viewing programming. Easy to set up the apps you want to pay for too! The monthly price tag in my future will be a lot cheaper than what I was paying for cable!

I was kinda taken back when I realize I had to have a subscription for everything which can get pricey but you do get free trials with most of them so you can choose the ones you really want. I wouldn't say it is comparable to cable but it does make a great partner. Overall good buy.

This is a great little device that lets you use streaming apps.

Worth buying the Roku 3 since lower models don't allow screen mirroring from your mobile phone, the 2 does not have built in mic on remote - great for the hot tub due to noise, and the 4 is not worth it at this time since 4k is not readily available. The three is worth it.
