The Roku is awesome! At first I was against getting the Roku as we have a smart tv and gaming devices. This is a great addition to the rest of the TVs and we can get rid of cable as this has the ability for streaming Netflix, Hulu, and much more.

This is a solid streaming device. There is a large selection of streaming apps on the device. One neat feature is the ability to search for a title and quickly find the platform it's on.

I love the roku. It has the most channels. I also love the private listening. I watch tv in the bed and wife hates it because she wants no noise. Private listening is the best. Also, I am able to activate channels through my cable provider.

I love the ability to plug headphones into the remote for private listening. ..And Roku,s great search capability allowing you to search for content over all streaming channels in a single search got better with voice activated search on the Roku 3.

Roku is a global network of channels to choose from, anywhere on the planet earth. My main use of Roku is as an DVR. You miss your episode, than you go to your channel and find that episode and watch it. Lots of these channels will have season of episodes going back many years. Even to watch over and over again...

While not chock-full of features like its new older brother, the Roku 3 still impresses with its private listening jack and speedy interface navigation. Love this little player and we are extremely happy with our decision to support Roku products

I wanted to get into streaming TV series from Netflix. I am enjoying them and movies too. The Roku 3 works well and I've had no problems after using it for under a month. The sales person was helpful and helped me make the right decision for my needs.

New technology, to us older folk, great way to eliminate the over priced cable company. LOVE it , I have all the shows I like on demand, can watch in order and it COSTS ALOT LESS THAN cable. GOOD by BRIGHTHOUSE, and good riddance to CENTRYLINK.

Very please with this streaming device. The cost savings has been incredible and we still get to watch our shows and great movies. The only downside is that many 'channels' require a provider login to get some streaming/live feed defeating the purpose of cutting the cable. Overall, our household is very happy

Got my unit on special for $50. Loads all streaming apps very quickly (faster than our Xbox one). Has good support for media file types loaded on USB. Only negative is that it does not support control of connected devices via HDMI so we have to use two remotes, one for the Roku and one for the TV/Speakers.

This Roku 3 was on sale and I needed a streaming device and the price was perfect. It was exactly what I needed for a product I purchased from the app store TEEVEE that streams Live TV, contact me for more info on the TEEVEE product. .

My daughter wanted a streaming device to give her more TV viewing options. We looked at several different options to include the new android TV systems but she decided on the Roku. She had problems with the set up but otherwise she like the system.

I picked up the Roku 3 so I could get rid of my Fios set top boxes! I use this Roku 3 to stream PlayStation Vue. I get 55 cable channels for 29.99 a month, no leasing multiple set top boxes!! I can also stream Netflix, Hulu, and Pandora.

I've had several issues with the headphones, and with the unit rebooting. The content is ok for being free, but not a replacement for regular tv. It is better than nothing though, when it works right.

Roku 3 is nicer but only slightly better than Roku2. I have been using Roku2 for 3 years and recently the streaming started slow and sluggish. So moved to Roku 3. But nothing noticeably great than a new Roku 2. This is much better than a 3 year used roku 2, but same as how my new roku 2 worked 3 years back.

I got the ROKU to view a specific channel I like and it works fine. You can also get certain channels if the are on your Cable subscription. Bonus: DLNA/Screen mirroring from your tablet or phone! So, don't get a separate device for that!

I bought this so I could use Sling TV. I am tired of paying for channels on satellite that I don't watch. Have been very happy with the number of apps available through Roku. I would recommend this to anyone looking to cut the cord
