Couldn't stand to keep paying $175/month for DTV. Did a lot of research before trying this out and don't regret it a bit. Haven't missed cable at all. Liked it so much, I got the Roku streaming stick the next week. Love that on too.

I'm cutting the cord shortly and the Roku 3 will hopefully fill the gap. I'm still exploring, but there are a multitude of offerings. Unfortunately, many adds popping up distracts from a good product. Not Roku's fault and I get that it's where the revenue is comong from, but still pretty annoying.

This is a great alternative to high cable bills. If you only watch a little tv, this is for you. A lot of great programs to watch and if you have Netflix, Amazon Prime or anything similar, chances are you can link it to your Roku 3.

I can finally watch Netflix/Amazon Prime without issue. Super simple set up (just be sure to have extra hdmi cords at home) and am pretty impressed with the search across services... makes it simple to find the movie I want to watch..

I love my Roku...this is a great model that let's you watch all the best streaming channels...from Netflix to MLB or NHL. Who needs cable. This model doesn't have any issues and even sports stream smoothly.

I look forward to using this but I am still learning how to work the device.

I bought this to use the TWC TV app. I am a bit disappointed with the picture quality and connection reliability when using this App. The other Apps seem much more robust. I don't know if its the Roku 3 or the TWC TV App itself. I've called Time Warner Cable twice already to get rid of error codes.

We love the Roku 3. Our bedroom TV is not a smart TV and we do not have cable or satellite. I love it so much that we are going to get one for our Samsung in the living room.

I like the ruko3 one reason I bought it was because you could wear earphones only problem with mine is the port where u plug them in doesn't work well seems to break up a lot so I can't understand what's being said so I tried my apple earbuds same thing so it's in the remonte not the earbuds.

Not sure why we didn't cancel our cable sooner. This device has made me re-fall in love with old shows, turned me on to new shows...there has not been a there's nothing good to watch on moment since it came into our home

I bought this to replace my Dish Network box in my bedroom that very rarely got turned on. This device has any app imaginable and is great for someone who just doesn't want to pay for regular tv and only does streaming.

This update to the roku box continues to be a great way to stream content. While as of 2016, this is not the most current edition, it is as snappy and responsive as you could want. Only hesitation is that the netflix app doesnt engage the screen saver so not good for nighttime watching.

Very pleased with its purchase, this is my second Roku, I owned the first one for last 2 years and it is still working great, this one is for my bedroom TV. Very simple interface and great streaming.. highly recommended!

We love our Roku 3. We were pleasantly surprised to find out we could even stream our cable through through the Roku! We no longer need a cable box. We can even watch on demand! It saves us money on our cable bill!!!!

I bought this roku for my dad who is hard of hearing. His earphones plug into the remote so that he can move around with just the remote in his hand. So much better than a long cord to the TV. Works good once it's set up.

Decided to replace a failing Blu-Ray player with this device since I rarely play Blu-Ray discs anymore. It's great, compact, and reliable, and allows me access to the online services I use. What more could you ask for?

Getting tired of paying $150-$200 a month for cable? Try Roku, download multiple channels both paid and unpaid. We just have Internet and Roku and do not miss cable!

My son loves it. He can watch his favorite programs. Planning on buying a second one for another room. Wish I had known about it sooner. It would have saved me a lot of money I have been paying on cable box rentals.

We purchased the Roku 3 so we could get rid of satellite and still watch our shows while saving some cash. Super easy to set up, and very intuitive menus. We were up and running within 15 minutes! Highly recommended!

Got it on sale for $49. definitely a great price. The multitude of channels that are available on the Roku cannot be beaten, Also, having earphones for certain situations is a big plus. Definitely loving the Roku3
