This model broadcast audio to the remote where you can plug in headphones. The audio cuts in and out often. The newer models uses the Roku app to receive audio via a smartphone or tablet which is more reliable. Would buy the newer model if you like to use private listening at night. You can plug a USB key with video files and the Roku can play video files directly from USB to your TV.

content is somewhat limited, but perfect for streaming Amazon and Netflix.... sometimes freezes up but that is probably due to internet not the player

Best thing since sliced bread!! I gave up my apple tv for the Roku and it was well worth it. Sling is great!

Best item that i ever purchased. A lot cheaper than cable with many sghows that you can watch the next day.

I think it's a great for those who like to stream their tv. Many choices to choose from and many are free. Still trying to figure out how to get the games.
