Very easy to install. Makes online streaming much simpler.

Installation was easy -- almost all automatic. Some confusion (still) as to which streams are free and which are not. Also some discomfort with not having an "Off" button / option when done viewing -- but unit eventually turns off automatically after viewings cease. All else is as expected / promised -- excellent; plus competitive pricing.

bought the Roku 3 because we wanted to watch a report that is done monthly also to watch classic movies - mostly from youtube. Setup of the roku was easy, step by step prompts to follow. Totally satisfied with the Roku and what we have used it to watch. By the way, we do not have cable or satellite, only a DSL connection that works fine.

This thing is great. We had a Roku XD but didn't like that we couldn't do Netflix profiles and that YouTube was slow and crashes, but on the Roku 3, we haves everything we want. I absolutely love it and will stick with Roku as long as it's around. Software updates automatically, it's super easy to use, and the response time is great.

Roku 3 is a good player no doubt. But if you actually compare Roku2 it has a better buttons on remote. Dont know why but my batteries on the remote ran out of juice within a day and i somehow feel the new Apple TV would be better. Nice content on Roku. The interface looks like the video game screen from olden days. They shud allow reporgramming of the shortcut butons. Yeah I am asking too much but do consider the first pt i said,

Faster netflix than the Wii and more options for streaming!!

I like the roku, it is easy to use and has plenty of apps.

Works wired or wireless. On any tv with HDMI. Also has Time Warner App which only comes on Samsung or Roku TVs at this time. Replaces cable box and is HD. Remotes work without line of sight, unlike the Roku 2.

I have a Roku 3 in the family room the den and both bedrooms. It runs flawlessly love how easy it is to use would highly recommend. This one has the voice search built into the remote control which we love.

I haven't had cable or satellite for several years. I finally decided to get a digital streaming device, and I am very happy with the Roku 3. Set up took 10 minutes. I had no idea the amount of free media available with this device, even though I researched some before buying it. Great choice for any considering cutting cable/satellite.

Set up in minutes. The ability to surf the available channels was easy. The ability to connect head phones to the remote is an awesome feature. My only concern was the ability to charge a credit card was to simple, no "are you sure" options and before you know it you've paid for something you may not have yet been completely sold on.

This is the next best thing from cutting the cable cord. It was extremely easy to set up and start steaming at once. I don't know why it took us so long to get the Roku3. I have already convinced all my friends to take the big switch from pricey cable to Roku.

I love: the RF remote. You can hide the device. and the headphone jack on the remote. Now I can watch TV at night without waking up anybody. The Roku interface is very easy to control for non-tech savy people and kids.

We’ve been using ROKU for almost two months after deciding to cut the cord from our Satellite TV provider. The device has worked as advertised and provides a fair number of channels that I’m interested in watching. My only complaint is with Roku’s free channel options. There seems to be a disproportionate number of certain types of channels (i.e. many religious channels) and not enough independent (non-partisan) news media channels: I’ve only found one, PBS. However, that isn’t an issue with Roku, that’s an issue with media providers not coming forward to broadcast with Roku. A word of caution, make sure that your internet connection and ISP provide upload and download speeds that are stable and fast enough for your Roku device to stream properly.

I have Roku 2 and bought this one because I wanted another one for my other TV. This one works great! The biggest advantage (that I could think of) comparing to the Roku2, is the remote with the headphones plug - this is a great feature (I can watch my programs late at night without waking up my kids...) Highly recommended

Very easy setup and navigation. Super simple remote.

The Roku3 is fast, free of annoyances, easy to use and a snap to hook up. So far I've been able to do everything the product advertises with no problems.
