I bought the Roku so we could stream Netflix & WWE Network without using our laptop. It was so easy to setup and use!! I love it!! The headphones work really good when the hubby is sleeping & I want to stay up. We will sit and watch it for hours. As long as your home network is running smoothly its just like watching cable.

Unit works well. Reviews on this were stellar. Unit is very small considering what it does. Love the headphone jack! The most difficult thing is getting used to a navigation keypad that doesn't feature a "center" button that on most remotes is the "ok" key.

I had already purchased another Roku 3 and decided to upgrade my older Roku HD. My family and I stream alot and this device works great with Netflix, Sling TV and various other apps including music streaming.

I used to own a Roku 2, but got tired of the waiting times while switching channels (around 20 seconds every time). If you are Ok with that, then the Roku 2 is just fine for you. If you are looking for a faster experience you need the Roku 3. That´s the main difference I saw, I did the upgrade and its definitely worth the price!

Works great, easy install, & no issues at all.....

I've had it now for a few months and its nearly perfect. Few slow downs or issues with the device hanging every once and a while (maybe 1 or 2 times a week) but overall its solid. Like the fact that it can run Sling.TV on it which is one of the few devices that can. As well that its not tied directly to Apple/Amazon/Google.

Tired of so many cable offerings but never anything good to watch, we bought this Roku. Signed up for several free movie channels so now have lots of free movie choices to watch on demand. Like this model Roku for its voice search capability. Easy to install and operation via remote or smart phone is easy, intuitive.

I found the Roku 3 to work well and was easy to set up. I am pleased with my purchase.

I have our TV mounted on the wall with no exposed wiring. I ran the power cord and other wiring thru the wall to the closet on the other side. I have the Roku 3 hidden in the closet as well and the remote works thru the wall without a hitch. Since this is in the bedroom I also like the headset plug on the remote.

This was an impulse purchase based on the discounted price. Cut the cable looong ago but previously streamed everything through PS3. Roku is fantastic, super easy to set up, and great options.

Worms great, awesome if you have Time Warner Cable and don't want to pay for a cable box, you can stream cable like it is an actual cable box. The one thing that would make this a 5/5 rather than 4/5 is if they had some way to attach a number/text pad so it is easier to search things, even if they sold a replacement remote.

I do like the Roku 3 it is easy to use and has many streaming channel options. The only complaint I have is the headphones. They drain the batteries very fast so if you use it regularly you have to change the batteries frequently. The sound will begin to crack and skip and the batteries it comes with are never strong enough so you need to change them right away. Other than that it is a good product.

I have been an Apple fan for years but was tired of the unreliability of my apple tv. I looked and researched online and came across this Roku 3, I must say that I immediately fell in love with this streaming device. Not only because of the ease of use but I love the option to use headphones in the remote so I do not disturb my wife if she is sleeping. Also you can play games with the Roku 3 if you wish and you have a ton of apps on the device. I also use my Roku 3 with my Seagate Media Central so I can Stream All my digital photo's, files, music, or movies. If I were you I would look into this and buy For yourself. I am defiantly happy with my purchase and plan on buying a few more for the rest of my house.
