Not needed if you already have a smart tv unless you are just wanting to purchase other tv programs

I loved the unit when I first started using it. After only 2 days it froze and I wasn't able to do anything with it. I could've tried to trouble shoot it by calling for assistance but I don't think I should have to worry about that with a brand new device. Returned it

Product is made well. To set up without credit card is easy. Just call or go to the website.

Price was great on this Roku, however, it does not seem to work as well as our Roku 2's.

You will need High Speed Internet with a Wireless or wired router, the device needs to be hooked to the router either through WiFi or a CAT5 Ethernet cable. You will also need a computer to get the device registered and set up. You can get tons of free TV channel content and many great Pay services that are very reasonable. I love Netflix which is $7.99 for a basic account. The Roku 3 has a Remote that will accept voice searches. The remote and user interface is not hard to get up to speed on. There are also many apps for Android that allow you to use this with your phone or tablet to control the device, or stream music, photos and video from your device to your TV. It had USB and MicroSD slots for hooking up external cards or drives to store content on. It take a little learning but not too complicated. There are also a lot of YouTube videos out there to get you up to speed. What blows me away is how much content is available up there for free or for very low cost. This device is a must have, it is part of the evolution in how people can watch TV. I highly recommend this. Just my personal opinion.

You need to have a strong connection for this to work properly. Otherwise don't buy.

I haven't even had the Roku3 for a month and it has already gone out on me. I'm able to use the ROKU app on my phone, but I'm not pleased at all with the remote. Now I am going to have to box up everything and spend my time to go back to Best Buy and return the ROKU3. Not happy at all to be honest

I brought this item in the store. For $50, the price was perfect

Simple and easy to use. Extend the life of your home stereo but still use the latest tech for wireless streaming. The only downside is the new app. The old app was sleek and simple to use. The new app is clunky and hard to use.

I am really disappointed with this device. I wish I knew that they could have video and sound sync issues, I would watch it for about an hour then for no reason they would go out of sync, a huge waste of money. I have rebooted it and it would fix it but it would still go out of sync.
