Havent really used it yet,got it for an older TV...shoukd b Ok

Roku - 3 is a good product. However it is sometimes glitchy.

Was a good deal for the Black Friday sale @ At $50.

To complicate for me to deal with it. So no like it.

I had the roku 4 about a week. I was pleased with it but then i learned about the tivo bolt. The bolt has online capability WITH an internal hard drive which works better for me. The tivo was twice the price, and bestbuy handled the exchange without a problem.

This is the fourth Roku in our household. Two are Roku 2s and the third is a 1st generation Roku 3. For the most part I have been very pleased with the other Rokus, aside from a few times needing a complete reboot. However this newest Roku 3 (2nd gen) was a lemon right out of the box. Failed numerous different ways, pairing with remote, remote recognition failing after it was finally paired, not recognizing a very strong wifi signal, dropping wifi connection once it was finally recognized and connected, and finally freezing up once I got through all of the previous issues. Unplugging it did not fix it nor did a factory reset fix the problem. Hopefully the one I receive after this is returned will work.

I have had problems with overheating that causes lines on the picture before shutting off and it asks to delete apps because there is no room. After deleting apps still getting the error message. When it works it's great.

If device is left unused for more than a few hours it would freeze. Nothing would wake it up other than pulling the power. We tried everything that was on the forums but alas we had to return the device.

My unit froze up after two weeks and even after hard reboot wouldn't load again. Best Buy was great with customer service and exchanged the item for me. Maybe the next one will work for at least a month.

The Roku 3 works great out of the box. The remote paired instantaneously and connected to our wireless network without issues. I am having one minor issue; the remote can randomly lock up for about 30 seconds. Other than that, it works very well.

I purchased the Roku-3 only for the fact that it has a headphone jack for private listening. Once the headphones were plugged-in the sound was cutting in and out and would frequently lose all sound completely. The Roku & headphones were only 8 feet apart. I returned it for a replacement and the second one did the exact same thing so I returned that one as well. There should be no reason why this feature would not work seeing how they were so close together. Very disappointed!

This is a great product, with minimal costs compared to cable or other services. We purchased the Roku 2, for one room in the house and then purchased the Roku 3 for our main television. They are great, not only can you watch almost everything you would want to watch for free or next to nothing in costs, it also has games and all sorts of other features, Such as you can plug in movies on a thumb drive into it, or my favorite, is that you can control it with an I phone, you can also stream photos and music from your Iphone in a slide show fashion.

Not what it proclaimed to be and especially for the price wasn't really worth. I returned this product as it sever no use for a smart tv.

We bought the roku for our smart TV but returned it because all apps provided in roku can be downloaded directly from our smart TV.

well i love it but i have to reset all the time because start working weird... there is no image just sound :(

There is no point to smart tvs as the Roku does more and better than anything else out there. Roku has the most channels as well as the best interface. Buttery smooth performance. My Roku 2 used to occasionally freeze and require a hard reboot. But in the year I've owned the Roku 3 I've never had it crash once on me. The Roku 3 does things so well, that I have no desire for the Roku 4. While 4k support would be great one day, there's so little content out there it really isn't a necessary upgrade. I will say that if someone insisted on 4k content, Roku 4 would be the way to go considering Netflix is one of the few ways to access it. The only criticism possible for Roku is the lack of file support. This is the hands down best streaming device. It is a fairly poor media device. If you're looking to play your own files then this would not be the optimal device. There are work arounds like using Plex. But native file formats are very limited.

i bought this to enhance my tv experience and it performed GREAT

It has a bad sound and lip delay that happens all the time and the is no perniment fix

Clarity is no very poor. It stops every time and automatically on everytime
