This was a great investment. We do not watch a lot of regular TV. I was able to get rid of my high cost cable TV and become a Hulu subscriber and watch all my shows the next day. I already had Netflix and google play. Now all channels are in one spot at the hit of the remote. Roku also offers lots of free channels. I am saving about $100 a month using this.

I have this product and i use this for watching sling tv. I have disconnected optimum and have switched to sling tv and use roku 3 for watching cable. Pros - 1. Good price, got it on a black friday deal for 50$ 2. Excellent interface - very user friendly, my 5 year old uses it 3. good wifi connectivity, never lost connection 4. good choice of applications - sling , amazon, netflix, crackle, yupp tv, youtube to name a few 5. has a USB port and can read you pictures and videos 6. Has headphones, you can listen to audio without disturbing your partner who is sleeping Cons - 1. dont allow me to install any outside applications like Kodi, 2. Does not have samba and cannot read my NAS 3. not 4K.. you will need roku premier

I bought my previous Roku in 2010 and it was starting to get a bit slow and would sometimes freeze up. This one is WAY faster and the headphone jack is very convenient if the kids are sleeping!

I have Chromecast and a smart TV, but prefer to use my ROKU instead. The interface for the ROKU is really easy to use and the voice search service is pretty cool. The ROKU has all the streaming services like Amazon Prime, Google Play and HULU. With Chromecast you cannot cast Amazon Prime unless you are using a browser. I highly recommend this to anyone who has cut the cords!

The roku 3 may now be replaced with newer models, but the 3 is one of the best models ever made. Private headphone jack, and very fast. Roku 3 is still one of the best

I have been a ROKU user since the beginning. I recently upgraded again to their newest model Roku 3. I like the easy set up and the headphones, I will say that for some reason the Amazon features once logged into your personal account do not work as simply as Netflix. Their new remote is not as efficient as their older units either.

It's time to cut the cable cord. Im so glad streaming devices came along and the ROKU 3 is perfect. (If you have a 4K tv you may want the ROKU 4) There is a multitude of FREE channels to view while only having to watch a minimal amount of commercials. (much less than network tv stations) There are also premium and add-on channels you can subscribe to such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc. The home page and menus are easy to navigate. All you need is internet access. I love not having to pay a cable bill anymore.

Roku 3 provides a clean interface for me to find content from Roku's vast database of shows. I especially enjoy using the remote attached ear plug adapter to watch movies in bed without disturbing my wife.

We have two ROKU TV's in our Florida home and after spending a few months there we really missed a smart TV in our Ohio home. We love our old Ohio SonyTV and wanted to make it a "smart" TV so we went with the ROKU3 streaming box. Love it! So easy to set up and use. I would recommend ROKU to anyone looking to purchase a smart TV or to make an old TV smart!

Received quickly! Trying to cut down bills and decided on Roku to do it! Great according to the reviews but need to get more acquainted to really decide! Keeping my fingers crossed!

So far so good...Purchased to live stream and can my Satellite provider! Just received unit and will give follow-up in month or so...

This is one fast Roku, if you want speed, then either get this one or the Roku4, however unless you need 4K right now, you might just want to get the Roku3, it has pretty much everything you can expect from a streaming device, when I get my 4K TV, maybe I'll upgrade to the 4 or whatever new model is out at the moment, for now I'm very happy with my Roku3, excellent device, a world of entertainment at your fingertips.

we wanted to get Roku but we're not sure which one! Finally got Roku 3 with remote headphones. This was a good buy as now we can watch tv without disturbing others. Plus the sound quality with the headphones is much better than without

We now have roku on all of our tvs and cut the cable off. The menus are very fluid and easy and make apps like Netflix and Hulu even more enjoyable and more simple navigate.
