my new roku 3 is great it works much faster than the stick that I used to have . I like the ear phones and also I like the voice search. I would definitely recommend this to all my friends.

This is the New 2015 Roku 3 Box. Its fast, positive and stays connected to the internet. I had connectivity issues with the prior Roku 3 Box. If you are in the market I highly recommend this one over the Fire TV Box. Why?? It is just as fast, has more channels and has a remote that you can plug in earbuds/headphones.

Roku 3 has got all the required apps. Best part it come with Headphones, so you can listen to your favorite program without disturbing anyone at home. It lacks few things though: One is Power button, so suppose if you play some YouTube videos and before turning off the TV you have to select menu button to bring back Roku to its Homepage, or else next time when you turn on the TV, you would see videos still playing on Youtube's playlist and eating up your Internet Data. It should be able to detect TV off command and should turn off on its own or else please give a power off button on remote. Secondly, Headphones doesn't have volume control buttons and you can use only the volume control given on remote.

Easy to use, easy to set up. The only thing I would love to have is a power button.

Already had a Roku 3. But its one weakness was typing in search. The interface was a pain. I bought this new model specifically for the voice search. I've been using it for a week and it has not missed yet. Fast accurate and easy. Worth the upgrade.

After extensive searches for information and hours of examination of said research I chose this one. My Roku-3 has performed exactly as I expected. It is easy to use and the setup is a step by step online snap. I recommend this particular product for it's ease of use as much as the ease of installation.

We bought the the Roku 3 as a tv cable alternative, and we are very happy with it! There's so many applications available, easy to use, and the microphone also makes it easy to search for shows and movies. We'd recommend this to everyone!

I had a Roku 2 while living in my dorm(it was provided to us) and when I moved out I purchased a firestick by Amazon as I heard they were pretty good. I honestly didn't see what all the hype was about. It didn't offer much for me, and Apple TV was just way too over priced. The Roku 3 was easy to set up, and had tons of streaming options. The layout is user friendly, and I like the private listening option where you can plug your headphones into the remote and listen privately to whatever your watching, So that you wouldn't have to disturb those around you. Perfect for when you're watching movies at night! Would purchase additional ones for other parts of the house!

After feeling cheated for years by several cable providers, this seems like the way to go! ESPECIALLY, since many stations are starting to provide a la carte services. If you purchase this, look into HBO NOW, Netflix, Hulu, Sling, and Amazon Instant Video. Just know that these services are EXTRA; the Roku just gives you ACCESS to them. You do not automatically have them. Even with paying for them all separately, it is still WAAAAYYYYY lower than my cable bill was. I am pleased.

I purchased the Roku 3 after many months of going back and forth about cable in my new home. I decided that since I don't watch TV enough to warrant paying for the extras, I'd just purchase a streaming device and a higher internet plan. I was already a longtime Netflix subscriber. Then the question became which device? Apple TV, Chromecast, Amazon fire stick? On and on! What sold me on Roku was the interface and responsiveness. I am currently streaming YouTube through the earbuds connected to the remote provided with the Roku 3, which I'm sure my neighbors appreciate, as I like my music loud enough to "feel" it. I'm having fun setting up my Roku and learning about the many viewing options. Glad I chose this over the others, and I can't wait to learn more. I've only had it unboxed and connected for 3 weeks, but I'm pleased.

This was so easy to set up and use. Put this on the living room TV so my husband can watch Blue Bloods seasons on Netflix. The remote is simple to us in switching from Amazon Prime, to Netflix then Hulu. It was basically plug and play. Recommend for streaming the major companies.

Purchased a Roku - 3 Streaming Player for my wife for Christmas and she is very happy with the present. Easy to install if you follow the directions on both your TV and computer/smartphone. Set up and watching within an hour! Had Amazon Prime and now have access on main TV to all there shows and movies.

Roku is by far the easiest streaming device. It's fast and has the best app selection. It's worth every penny. I've cut the cable cord 5 years ago and this is my 3rd roku. One in every room.

We bought a Roku 3, and we love it! Our shows look great on the Roku with our HD TV, and it is so much faster and easier to use than what we were using before. I would highly recommend it.

My mom needed an upgrade from an old Roku unit she was using with a CRT television. Out with the old, in with the new. Rook is her favorite streaming, and unfortunately it doesn't come integrated with Sony TV's. Great picture, familiar remote, and she uses and likes the headphones plug on the remote.

Using the Roku 3 mainly for streaming Netflix and SlingTV. Better picture quality than the Roku 2 I had previously. Something about the way it processes the incoming video. Roku 2 had a bit of a "choppy" quality to it. It was okay, but the clearer signal coming from the Roku 3 makes a difference to me.

We have been very pleased with the Roku since purchasing. We were debating between this and the Apple TV, and we're pleased with the cost and functions of the Roku. Rather than adding another cable box, we have been able to stream tv shows and movies at our leisure, rather than renting the cable box.

Have a Roku 2 and I love it, but I wanted to start up with Sling and I read that the Roku 3 provided a better experience than the 2. This is simply a good upgrade to an already great product.
