I have a smart tv in one room and wanted to make another tv into one. I bought the best version with the voice search feature and man....This item makes a non smart tv into a really nice smart tv. I like it better than the integrated smart tv that I have in the other room.

After getting fed up with high cable and dish bills, bills that continued to go up but I was getting less and less for my money, I decided I had enough. This is a great alternative! I have tons of choices for entertainment while still having the ability to watch all the college and pro sports that I demand! Check it out - you will not be disappointed!

Love the product, and the ease of purchase from best buy. The roku is simple to set up and easy to use. Many channels to choose from and download for free. Since I purchased it I've been watching various programs that I couldn't get even with cable. Definitely a recommend.

I am so glad I purchased the Roku 3. I was told by a friend and I wanted to get rid of the huge satellite bill. So I installed it and I am able to watch all of the same programs for a fraction of the cost. Picture quality is great and I love the headphones in the remote.

I was skeptical about cutting the "cord" and doing away with cable, but I am 100% happy. I bought one for down stairs and now have one for every room in the house. The roku offers all same benefits while cutting my monthly costs by $100+. Like the title says...AWESOME!

The Roku 3 is a great streaming device. I selected a Roku because it is the closest streaming device to being content agnostic. In addition the audio jack on the remote that allows for headphone use is clutch.

The Roku 3 is speedy, has a clean, appealing, easy to use interface, and tons of content available. The remote is great; the headphones feature is unique. My one and only issue is it's not great for streaming your own content off a USB drive. It does offer Plex however.

This is a great toaster - looks high quality, convenient 4 slices with pop up lever for additional help removing item, and easy to clean. The bagel and reheat buttons (you select after pressing down lever) are very handy. Heats quickly. Really happy with this purchase!

Easy user interface to navigate and I can add channels online. I often manage channels for my older relatives this way. Hardware is more than adequate with no stuttering and the voice search is an amazing feature. (Note: the Roku app also allows for voice search.)

I gave up subscription Fios TV. Took me a while to get use to living through App life. There is a learning curve. You can't just keep it running and show after show comes on. You have to select shows after one ends. But the transition is worth it. You get a lot of free movies, documentaries and tv shows with Roku. Stuff you pay for with cable or Fios. And if you want to pay for newer stuff, you pay just for what you want. Not 100 channels you will never watch as a package deal just to get the channel you do like. My only pet peeve. the remote is minimalist. You can easily mistake an arrow back for the home button. And there is no back light on the remote so you can't see what you are doing in the dark. Only feel your way around. Very few buttons on the remote and searching is annoying. arrow to one letter, back to another and so on. Takes time to learn. But the money you save in the long run, is worth learning.

I bought this to replace an old Roku that was near my router and was having connection problems. This model can be connected directly vie ethernet cable. I like the new interface and connectivity. Works better than either of the two previous Rokus I have owned.

I purchased the Roku 3 because I needed to have access to Time Warner in an upstairs bedroom where cable installation was almost impossible. So far I have been impressed with the Roku 3 as it has solved the problem I was having. For me it has been money well spent!

I bought this to give Sling a try. I am an Apple TV user, so this purchase was exploring other streaming avenues than I am accustomed to. Overall I am satisfied with the capabilities, functionality and streaming speeds the device has. I prefer the Apple TV because of the other Apple products I own and how well they work seamlessly together. However, if you are looking for a streaming device, I would recommend this. My favorite part is the headphones for use at night or to be able to watch apps and not disturb others. Good selection of streaming apps and is easy to use and set up.

I had a plan to cut cable. Started with OTA antenna, and one Roku box. Not a bad set up, low buffering good to great picture. Added a second Roku box and started running into problems. I have a family of 5, all with laptops, tablets, and cell phones, in short many devices connected with internet. Being uninformed, I upgraded my router for better performance. This did not fix my problem. As I continued to learn, my root problem was my internet service provider plan. I was set up for 20 Mbps and this was not enough to run everything in my family environment. Between the cost of increasing my plan (Time Warner Cable customer that did not qualify for "special promotions" on internet service, 20Mbps was already going to cost me $80.00/mth) and monthly subscriptions to the "hot" channels, the savings of cutting cable i my situation quickly evaporated. The Roku is a good product, it just didn't work into my cutting cable plan.

My PS3 died recently and I was pretty much only using it for streaming so I thought I'd look at some alternatives. After checking out my options, I decided to get the Roku 3. Setup was pretty easy and I'm very happy with my choice and would definitely recommend it.

I love my Roku, the first of these devices I have bought. It's very simple to set up and I've found if it misbehaves it is an easy reboot by pulling power plug and plugging back in within a few seconds.

We have only had it for a couple weeks but the wife and kids love it. I have seen the Apple TV and this compares favorably. The remote is easy to use, as is the voice search option. Roku is easy to use and so much faster than looking for shows on our DirecTV box!

I own several Roku boxes. They are fast and have lots of channels to choose from. The remote control has an earjack, which can be used with a wired headset. I purchased a Bose wired over the ear headset, which I plug into the remote control. Works great!

The Roku was recommended by the salesman as the easiest to use because it's default wasn't Amazon or Google Made sense to me. It's easy to use , easy to pack up and use on other TV s and is much more reliable than trying to stream through the blue ray player.
