Bought this Roku 3 (new version) to replace an older Roku 3 model that died after years of reliable service. The voice search feature is nice along with the dedicated Amazon, Hulu, and Netflix quick launch buttons. BestBuy had a good price on it as well.

I was so pleased with the first one I bought I bought another for the bedroom. I only have a few channels installed but there is plenty of content even for a hard core tv watcher. very simple to set up. adding and deleting channels is also simple. a lot of content you can't get on cable. we dropped our cable after getting Roku and although you do have commercials on a lot of the movies and programs they are usually not as numerous as regular tv and we don't have a cable bill. I am happy with the roku

The Roku 3 is great! It was very simple to set up and activate. They must have made this for those of us who are technologically inadequate! I am only using it for NETFLIX and Pandora, but there are many other options available. It was definitely a smart purchase.

Bought this for plex and other TV apps and an upgrade for fire tv stick. Super easy set up, very fast and I like the remote. Plex runs great on this.

Most apps. Very fast and smooth streaming. Best of all it uses a lot less data compared to gaming consoles. Only downside is that there is an off button. Have to unplug it or let it sleep. In sleep it still uses internet data though, so I unplug it after use.

My 16 year old gotthis as a Christmas present. This Roku basically made her badic 32 inch TV into a smart TV. She is addicted to Netflix and now has the ease of using the remote with the TV instead of having to use her laptop. She loves this so much!

I originally bought the ROKU 2 and found out that I had to get the 3 in order to get a Remote that does not have to see the receiver. I mounted the ROKU box behind the tv and the remote cannot see the Reciever. The ROKU 3 works well for this application

This is my new favorite product. Favorite parts so far are: It has the Sling App, I can watch downloaded movies thru USB port and Media App, and the speed of toggling thru menu and apps is awesome.

After going back and forth many times, we decided on this model. Although we figured we could get wireless headphones for the TV, the ability to plug headphones into the remote has proven to be really cool and we use it more than we would have thought.

ROKU is perfect for what I need when it comes to streaming movies and tv shows or just listening to music. I used it with my Samsung TV which is not a smart TV and it turned it into smart :)

The Roku is great !! So easy we got Nana the Roku2 to watch her WWE app & we just got Roku3 for our spare tv .Love it ! Set up to watch easy to do. Your watching within minutes out of the box . Hey if 73 year old Nana can do it anyone can do it !!

Numerous streaming options, one small box, love it

This device makes a non smart tv a smart tv. It's easy to use. Has a ton of apps to choose from to view shows and movies. Some you have to pay for and some are free. The remote has an earbud Jack so you can watch it without disturbing anyone.

Very simply the best streaming box for those who are not all in on the Apple Ecosystem. Simply connect two cords and this gives you access to everything you could ever want to stream.

People look at TV 4 News movies and sports. I look at TV for news and movies and this device gives me both. Depending on where you live, you could get a local network feed, but I prefer the national feed on ABC NBC CBS and fox. I have to tell you that the internet connection is by far the best and the remote on this is better than any other device from any other manufacturer there is. If you want to listen to whatever is on the TV, you can do so with the earbuds that come with it for free. They plug into the remote, and when you want that privacy to avoid waking up the significant other laying next to you, plug them in. If you are looking for the opportunity to select only specific cable networks like HBO Showtime Starz, This is definitely the box to buy. I like to think that with as many years in technology that I have, I know all the devices on the market. When I tell you that this one is the only one that I would buy for myself and give to others as a gift, I am not kidding. I can't say enough things about it that are nice so I'll just suggest that you try it out for yourself and when you're done you'll either keep it or you'll return it within the time allotted through Best Buy. I got a feeling you're going to end up keeping it and buying a family member one as well.

I love my Roku 3! I add all my favorite channels like HBO, Hulu Plus and Netflix. I don't miss cable tv. The ease of using Roku makes on demand streaming the best home entertainment ever!

I had a previous version of the Roku and enjoyed it until the motion sensor remote broke. My husband ordered a generic one that did not sense motion, so it made the Roku games obsolete. Instead of ordering another remote, I researched the newer version of the Rokus and decided on this version over the newer one because of the headphone jack. I use it every night when my husband is sleeping. It's a great option if the room needs to be quiet. The only drawback is the batteries die quicker when you use the remote headphone jack.

I buy digital movies alot and was looking for a device to use vudu and I got thia. I love my roku, I haven't had any problems with it. There's so many things that you could do with it.
